What is needed to supply water to the house from the well. Detailed water supply scheme for a private house with a hydraulic accumulator

Living in a country house will be comfortable only if it has a reliable water supply system. There are many ways to equip it. Most often, cottages and private houses use well piped water with a pump and a hydraulic accumulator. About how such systems are assembled, and we will talk further in the article.

Design

First of all, it is necessary to draw up drawings of the future water supply system. Performing design, you need to decide:

  • With water supply. It can be a well or a well.
  • Type of equipment for the system. with a hydraulic accumulator necessarily includes a pump, and sometimes a gas column. You will also need to choose pipes that are suitable for the diameter.

A source

Arranging the supply of water to the house from an ordinary well is in many cases the easiest way. In this case, most likely, it will not be necessary to attract specialists and order expensive equipment. The depth of the well usually does not exceed 10-15 meters. And so you can dig it yourself. Such a source has only one drawback - the water in it during floods or heavy rains may not be too clear.

It’s even easier to drill a sand well in the courtyard of the house or in the garden. In this case, earthwork will have to be performed much less than with the arrangement of the well. The depth of the wells of this type can be 10-45 meters, but usually does not exceed 15. However, such a source of water supply has a rather serious drawback - not a very long service life. It will be possible to use the well “on sand” for no more than eight years.

The most expensive and at the same time the most reliable source of water is considered to be an artesian well. Its service life is practically unlimited. The water in artesian wells is very clear, since it lies at a great depth in the calcareous layer. In addition, such sources have another important advantage. Water from an artesian well enters the surface on its own - under pressure. Therefore, in some cases, heating and water supply of a private house can be equipped even without using a pump.

Outdoor line

Water is supplied to the house from a well or a well through a metal-plastic or polypropylene pipe laid from a well or a well, usually into the basement of the house. To lead the highway into the building, make a hole in the foundation. It must be carefully insulated. Otherwise, in winter the water will freeze. For insulation use a piece of mineral wool inserted into the pipe.

The highway is laid in a trench with a depth of at least 70 cm. Sand is first poured onto the bottom of the latter. Then the pipe itself is laid. They dig a trench at a slight angle. This will prevent stagnation in the water pipe.

Pump

With a hydraulic accumulator, this element necessarily includes. A pump is usually installed in the basement of the house. When choosing it, you should first of all pay attention to the height of the water column. Calculating the necessary is very simple. To do this, add 30 points to the depth of the well or well. The height to which the pump can lift water is indicated in the technical data sheet attached to it. For example, if a well or a well has a depth of 15 m, the magnitude of the required water rise will be 15 +30 \u003d 45 meters.

Also, when choosing a pump, you need to take into account such a parameter as its performance. In order to find out what equipment is best for the system, you need to add up the water consumption of all consumers: sinks, shower, bathtub, drain tank, etc. A pump in a system with a well can be used including a submersible one.

The need for the accumulator

Only with the use of an expansion tank can a reliable autonomous water supply  private home. The scheme, which includes a hydraulic accumulator, has a lot of advantages. The expansion tank in the water supply system performs several functions:

  • relieves excess pressure;
  • accumulates water;
  • allows to exclude too frequent switching on of the pump, which significantly extends the service life of the latter;
  • softens water hammer inside the system;
  • provides the working pressure of the water in the lines with the pump turned off.

How to choose the accumulator

The best option for heating systems of one-two-story, not too large houses is considered expansion tank  in 24 liters. For a cottage, the volume will have to be calculated separately.

The pump in domestic systems is not recommended to be turned on more than once a minute. For large houses, models with a capacity of about 30 l / min are usually used. The accumulator is only half full. Therefore, to ensure an uninterrupted supply of water, its capacity in this case should be about 80-90 liters.

Pipe routing inside the house

The installation of water supply for a private house by assembling highways and connecting consumers is nearing completion. Inside the building, two pipe layouts can be used:

  • Plain tee. The advantages of this method include, first of all, ease of installation. In this case, the pipe is held around the perimeter of the house. With the help of tees, all the necessary consumers join it. The disadvantage of such a system is considered uneven pressure. In cranes closest to the accumulator, it will be much larger than in distant cranes.
  • Collector. Mounting such a system is more difficult. However, in this case, the pressure at all points of the house will be the same. When using such a wiring diagram, a common collector is installed in the building, and pipes are already launched from it to each consumer.

Column

In the modern market there are several varieties of equipment designed for the device in the house of hot water. Heaters can be powered by electricity or gas. The former are easier to install, but their operation is more expensive. Gas models are not cheap, but they are also considered more economical. Sometimes water heating in a private house is carried out using a double-circuit heating boiler.

Installation of the pump and accumulator

So, what is the water supply scheme of a private house with a hydraulic accumulator, we found out. Now let's see how the assembly itself is correctly performed. Start a private house with the installation of a pump and a hydraulic accumulator:

  • To draw water into the mine shaft (about 2/3 of its depth) a pipe is lowered.
  • A highway with a diameter of 10-15 cm is fed through a dug ditch to a well or a well. All parts are connected using fittings and tees.
  • On the other hand, a pump of the required power is connected to the pipe.
  • Under it is installed a hydraulic accumulator. A pressure gauge and pressure switch are attached to the nozzles. When the pump is operating, the pressure in the accumulator will increase. As soon as the pressure reaches the set mark, the relay will turn off the discharge. When water is used by the residents of the house, the pressure will drop again. In this case, the relay will turn on the pump again. Some types of accumulators are installed in the attic or second floor. In such models, the float is responsible for turning the pump on / off.

Trunking

Next, let's figure out what the layout of the water supply of a private house is. In suburban low-rise buildings, as well as in urban apartments, the system is usually assembled using inexpensive and at the same time reliable polypropylene pipes. The wiring is carried out in several stages:

  • Two pipes are connected to the tee installed immediately after the accumulator (via the tee). One in the future will supply water for household needs.
  • The second line is connected to the collector.
  • Pipes are being wired to each consumer.

The hot water supply scheme of a private house includes another highway. It is diverted from the second pipe and passed through a column or boiler.

Consumer Connection Rules

Plumbing fixtures should be placed in the bathroom so that it is convenient to use. The minimum distance between the sink and the toilet is 20 cm. In front of the bathroom and a washing machine  there must be at least 70 cm of free space. The toilet is installed in the immediate vicinity of the sewer riser. The further it is located, the greater the likelihood of blockages. Water supply and sewerage of a private house, subject to these rules, will turn out to be reliable and convenient to use.

It is also necessary to take into account the fact that, according to the norms of SNiP, it is not allowed to place a bathroom and toilet over the kitchen or living rooms on the lower floor.

The final stage

The water supply scheme of a private house with a hydraulic accumulator includes many elements. After they are all connected, be sure to check the equipment. To do this, the pump is turned on. Next is a visual inspection of the system. If leaks or any other malfunctions are detected, corrective work is performed. In a mandatory order, the performance of the accumulator relay is also checked.

Sewerage

Used water in private homes is usually diverted to a septic tank. A vertical riser is installed on all floors. Sunbeds are connected to it, and already to them, through siphons - sinks and a bathtub. The street highway connecting the riser to the septic tank is laid at a depth of 70 cm (to prevent freezing wastewater) at an angle. When assembling it, try to make as few knees as possible. Otherwise, the sewage system will often clog. For safety reasons, an electric heating cable can be passed along the external line.

Private houses - the systems are structurally not too complex and can very well be arranged with your own hands. But reliable, convenient and durable, they will be obtained only if all the required technologies are strictly observed. If the owners of the house are not confident in their abilities, of course, it would be best for them to turn to specialists.

The water supply scheme of a private house with a hydraulic accumulator is very effective. It can be equipped even in a small house in the village, and even in modern private houses near the city, it is difficult to do without such a system.

Of course, this task is not so simple, especially when it comes to a house that has been standing for a long time, and not only being built, but, nevertheless, many work can be done with your own hands without the help of specialists. First you need to figure out what exactly needs to be done, what materials to pick up, and what nuances to consider when arranging a water supply system.

Water supply scheme

As a basis, you can take any of the currently available water supply schemes. They may differ in appearance, the presence of any elements (in particular, a hydraulic accumulator) and other features. But the main characteristic remains the way consumers are switched on, where there are only 2 options for the scheme:

  1. With serial connection of consumers.
  2. With parallel connection of consumers.

The first option can be used to equip the water supply scheme in a small country house with a small area and the number of consumers. The fact is that the serial connection scheme provides that the water supply will go from one consumer to another. This means that first, from the source, the liquid will go, for example, to the bath, and then to the toilet, etc.

The disadvantage of this scheme is that when working with the first 2-3 nodes, there will be practically no pressure in the latter. But the advantage is a simple connection system. First, from the source, the water supply is connected to the first point of consumption and a tee is installed, from which the pipeline will go to the next consumers.

The parallel circuit has a slightly different design. An element such as a collector is necessarily present in it, and pipes are already laid from it to each consumption point. This option is more effective, but it is more difficult to equip it.

It is worth noting that both connection schemes can be made both from a central water supply system and from an autonomous one. This means that a well or even a well can act as a source.

What the circuit consists of

In general, the water supply scheme of a country house consists of several elements:

  • Source of water (as already mentioned, it can be a well, a well or a central water supply system);
  • Pumping equipment (only when using a well or a well);
  • A hydraulic accumulator that will perform the functions of accumulating fluid;
  • Special filter for water purification;

Experts advise immediately after the accumulator in the circuit to use a tee with shutoff valves. As a result, one outlet will be used for water supply for the premises, and the other - to supply water to the garden, garden and other places of the site. It is clear that in this situation, the filter needs to be installed only in the place where the water comes into the housing.

  • After installing the filtration devices, you need to make another tee that will separate the cold and hot water;
  • After this, the cold water supply pipe is connected to the corresponding collector. At the same time, it must be equipped with shutoff valves at each of its outputs;
  • The hot water system must be connected to the heating equipment. As such a device, both a gas column and an electric boiler can be used.

Also in the system there may be additional elements that will increase comfort and efficiency. In particular, it is possible to install a pressure monitoring sensor, automation of pumping equipment and other details.

Well or well application

From the foregoing, we can conclude that there is nothing very complicated in the water supply scheme of a private house. Problems arise only at the arrangement of a well or well in its area.

First of all, it is necessary to determine whether the well or an ordinary well will be the source of water. Each option has its advantages and disadvantages. So, a well is much easier to equip, its depth rarely reaches 10 meters, but not the best water quality needs to install several filters at once.

The water in the well is much cleaner, but the drilling depth here is about 30 meters. You will also have to buy a more powerful, and therefore more expensive submersible pump.

Experts advise making your choice precisely in favor of the well, and if you agree with this, then for the water supply system you will need:

  • Pump equipment;
  • Nipple;
  • Special non-return valve, it is used to prevent water from getting back;
  • The pipe through which water will go;
  • Shutoff valves;
  • Filtration device;
  • Pyaternik (used to connect elements such as a pressure gauge and pressure switch);
  • Hydraulic accumulator (installation of a hydraulic accumulator for water supply systems is necessary if a well or a well is used as a source).

Plumbing installation

If we talk about the installation of water in a country house, then the most difficult and dusty task will be to make holes in the walls and floor. Other tasks, such as installation of pumping equipment, pipe cutting and connecting elements, etc. although it will take a lot of time, but they are simple. Therefore, equip the water supply system in country cottage  on its own is a task that even a novice can handle.

Pipe material selection

There are many pipe options on the market today that can be used for plumbing systems. Each material has its positive and negative sides that need to be studied:

  1. If you look at the characteristics, the best option would be copper pipes, but their price is corresponding. This material does not suffer from corrosion, is not afraid of ultraviolet radiation and harmful microorganisms. Also, copper pipes will not be damaged by temperature changes, therefore, they are used for transportation of both hot and cold water.

  1. Plastic pipes. An even coating avoids rust, and the outer layer of the pipes protects against ultraviolet radiation and condensation. The negative side can be considered sensitivity to cold and high temperatures. If the water is heated above 95 degrees, then the material can simply be deformed.
  2. A proven and reliable material is steel. They are very durable, but when the water supply stops, they simply begin to rust. When installing, you need to cut the thread to connect the elements, or use a welding machine, but it is very difficult.
  3. The main advantage of polypropylene pipes is their high strength, they are also resistant to oxidation and are easy to install. The only drawback is the work with the joints, you need special welding equipment.

Today, polypropylene pipes are most often used, they are inexpensive and resistant. If you also decide to opt for this option, please note that reinforced pipes are required for the hot water supply system.

Diameter of Inner Piping

Choosing the right sizes is just as important as choosing the best material. The fact is that too narrow pipes can lead to turbulization of the flow, the liquid will be transported very noisily, and lime elements will remain on the walls. The highest speed of water transportation is approximately 2 meters per second, based on this indicator, you need to choose a diameter.

Also, the diameter will directly depend on the length of the communications:

  • If the length of the pipeline is less than 30 meters, then pipes with a diameter of 25 millimeters can be used;
  • When the pipeline is 30 meters long, you will need a diameter of 32 millimeters;
  • When using a short pipeline (length around 10 meters), pipes with a diameter of 20 millimeters can be used.

The correct arrangement of the water supply system in a country house also depends on the diameter of the collector pipe. It should ensure the normal use of several points of water intake simultaneously. To determine this indicator, fairly simple calculations are used. So, if one mixer passes about 5-6 liters of water per minute, we determine how many points of water intake must be provided.

The ratio of pipe diameter and throughput:

  • A 25 millimeter pipe can skip 30 liters per minute;
  • A 32 millimeter pipe can skip 50 liters per minute;
  • A pipe of 38 millimeters can pass up to 75 liters per minute.

If the family consists of 4 or more people, then situations when you have to simultaneously supply water to the kitchen, bathtub, bathroom and, for example, to the washing machine, will arise very often. The water consumption indicators of all points must be summarized, and as a result, the required throughput must be obtained, taking into account which the diameter of the collector pipe is selected.

If the family is small, but there are a lot of water intake points in the housing that will not be used at the same time, then the calculations are done a little differently. To do this, you need to summarize the water flow at all points, and then reduce this figure by 25-40%. The result is an approximate consumption.

Polypropylene pipe welding

If you still chose polypropylene pipes, then, as already mentioned, problems can appear at the stage of connecting structures. In particular, it is necessary to prepare a special welding machine, and then perform the following steps:

  1. Pipes are cut into pieces of the required length. To do this, experts advise using special scissors and keep them perpendicular when cutting. For hot water supply, it is necessary to use reinforced pipes, but they can also be used for cold water supply systems, pipes with protection will last longer.
  2. On these segments it is necessary to make a mark on the depth of welding - this is approximately 16 mm.
  3. The joints are degreased.
  4. A nozzle of the required size is put on the device.
  5. The equipment heats up to 260 degrees.
  6. Next, pieces of material must be worn on the nozzle (while it is forbidden to rotate them).
  7. In this position, hold the pipes for about 5-7 seconds and remove the pieces from the nozzle.
  8. After that, the heated elements can be interconnected, or with a fitting.
  9. After connecting, hold the segments for several seconds for better fixation.

In this way, it is necessary to solder all the elements of the plumbing system of a country house.

Arrangement of wiring

At this stage, it is necessary to distribute the pipes to all points of water intake, starting from the source. To do this, you can use a fairly productive parallel system. First you need to connect to the source. If water is taken from the well, then a surface pump must be used, and if from the well - then submersible.

Pipes are connected to the clamp of the pumping equipment. Sometimes the adapter for the thread can act as a connecting element (it is also used when arranging the system from a central water supply).

At the next stage, the pipes from the source go to the accumulator. By the way, many do not understand why a hydraulic accumulator is needed in a water supply system. This device is installed in such cases:

  • When the pressure in the water supply system is too weak, and can not provide all points of water intake with liquid;
  • With frequent interruptions in water supply.

The accumulator connection diagram for water supply systems provides for its installation at the highest point, but it is important that there is convenient access to the unit. After the tank, a tee with shutoff valves is installed, from one outlet a path is laid to the water heater, and from the other to the collector of cold water supply.

As already mentioned, the system can be equipped with one or more filters. Experts advise installing filtration equipment in front of the heating element and in front of the collector of the cold water supply system.

From the water heater, water is supplied to the collector of the hot water supply system. From each collector circuit it is necessary to make a wiring to the points of water intake. But the installation of the pressure gauge and meter should be carried out by the corresponding utilities.

Pipe routing inside the house

For this, it is necessary to use all kinds of additional elements: tees, angles, adapters between diameters, etc.

When making pipe wiring, the following recommendations should be considered:

  • Pipes must be laid, bypassing various building structures. If this scheme does not work, then in places where pipes pass through the wall, a special protective glass must be used;
  • All parts of the pipes in the country house must be mounted so that they are separated from the walls at a certain distance. This will greatly facilitate repair work in the future;
  • If the system uses one or more drain taps, then a slight bias must be made in their direction. Also, a bias must be done to the accumulator;

  • The stroke of the outer corner is carried out with a distance of 15 millimeters, and the inner - 40 millimeters;
  • You can mount water pipes to the walls using special clips. They are installed at a distance of 2 meters.

Installation and connection of a pumping station

To plug vacation home  to the water supply system it is possible with the help of a pumping station, which will pump water from a well or a well. The best place to install such a system would be a basement or ground floor, this will protect the equipment from freezing and precipitation.

From water source to pumping equipment  connect a pipe that ends with a brass fitting and an adapter. A tee with a drain tap is connected to this fitting, this will turn off the water if repairs are necessary. After this, a check valve is connected to prevent the return of fluid. If you need to turn the pipe to direct to the pumping equipment, then a 90 degree angle is used.

After that, all the details are connected using the quick method - "American":

  • First, the ball valve is connected, it will allow you to control the water supply;
  • Next, a mesh filter is installed;
  • The pump station must have a pressure switch and a special tank. If the pump is installed in the source, and the remaining devices are inside the house, then a pressure switch is installed on top, and a hydraulic accumulator on the bottom;
  • Sensor to protect equipment from “dry running”;
  • After that the fine filtration system is mounted;
  • In the end, you need to install the transition to the pipe of the required diameter.

Before performing the following stages of work, it is necessary to check the serviceability of the connection system - for this it is necessary to start the pump and check whether the pump will be pumped or not. If the system does not work, then this indicates a wrong connection.

Design and purpose of the accumulator

This element is made in the form of a sealed container, which is divided internally into two sections. In one of them is liquid, and in the other is air under pressure. Such a device is used in order to maintain the required pressure indicator in the water supply system. The accumulator also turns the pump on and off if necessary.

So, if the tank is completely filled with liquid, the pressure in the circuit is approximately 3 bar. If at the same time the tenant of the house opens the tap and accordingly uses water from the tank, then the pressure indicator will decrease, this will turn on the relay, and the pump will start working until the accumulator is again filled with water and the pressure rises to 3 bar.

The volume of the water tank in the accumulator can be different, from 25 liters to 500. If the system is installed in the country, then a small option is also suitable, and if it is necessary for a house in which a large family constantly lives, then a large tank will be needed.

Instead of the accumulator, you can use the usual storage tank, which is installed on the top floor. As a result, water under pressure will create pressure, but this will not be enough for the washing machine to work.

It is difficult to imagine a house without running water, because everyone wants to have comfortable living conditions. Although the process private house water supply  with a hydraulic accumulator is quite complicated, circuits and detailed instructions  help to do it yourself without the involvement of specialists.

Detailed water supply scheme of a country house

If you decide to make a water supply, you will have to carefully consider the scheme in which to calculate the necessary materials and equipment, as well as the course of the pipes. You can use a serial circuit or connect a water pipe to the collectors.

Serial connection type  suitable for consumers for small houses with a small family. For permanent residence, this type of water supply is not suitable. The pipeline is connected from the first to the second and so in turn to the last consumer. When piping, a tee is placed near each water consumer. When opening several consumers at a time, there will be no water in the final tap.

Sequential circuit

Collector type of connection  It has a connection system from a common collector, from which water flows through the nodes. The pressure when turning on consumers at the same time does not change. A slight loss is possible with a weak pump. In this case, the water supply is connected to the collector and work is underway to supply water to all water consumers.

Collector circuit

From the collector there can be a wiring for supplying water to the street for household needs. Inside the house, pipes go for water supply to the heating system, all taps, a toilet room, and a bathroom. For hot water, a collector for hot water and a boiler are installed if the boiler does not have a water heating system.

Types of pipes for water supply at home with a hydraulic accumulator

When choosing pipes, you need to decide what exactly suits your home.

1. Copper type pipes  considered the best and most expensive. Pipes are not subject to destruction from light, corrosion, germs and temperature surges. Such pipes are quite lightweight and do not require reinforced fastening.

Copper pipes

2. Steel view of pipes  quite durable, durable, but rusts with uneven water consumption. They are joined by welding or a special thread is cut for connection.

Steel pipes

3. Metal-plastic type of pipes  does not rust, it is protected from ultraviolet radiation and accumulation of condensate. One minus is that very hot boiling water deforms the material.

Plastic pipes

4. Polypropylene type of pipesLong-lasting, easy to install and non-oxidizing. It is connected by a soldering iron for pipes. This type of connection requires additional skills and accuracy.

Polypropylene pipes

When choosing pipes, you must take into account the diameter. A small diameter leads to noise in the pipes. The flow rate is 2 meters and a calculation is made from this.

How to calculate the length of the water supply in a country house

The diameter of the pipes and the length of the water supply must correspond to each other so that you do not have blockages and emergency situations when supplying the house with water.

For thirty meters of the pipeline, there is a 25 mm view of the pipe. For a longer length, the diameter is 32. For 10 meters, you can take a 20 millimeter diameter.

One consumer lets about 5 to 6 liters of water per minute. It is necessary to correctly calculate how many cranes there will be, and what type of pipe will fit.

The pipe is connected to the walls with clips specially designed for this purpose. The run should be no more than 1.5 meters. Clips are also placed at the corners.

Water supply at home

The fewer pipe turns, the greater the pressure in the pipes. To connect to the water supply from a home well or well, you need a specially designed pumping station.

The station is located inside the insulated room. For a well, the pump must descend inward and have an additional automatic or manual on and off system.

Water supply at home with a hydraulic accumulator

For good water supply, you need a hydraulic accumulator. With its presence, the pressure remains stable in all situations. The relay during pressure surges gives a command to turn on or off the pumping station. The accumulator must be located at an elevation, as it accumulates water. It also needs to be further secured. It is exposed at a distance from the wall to avoid vibration.

Accumulator circuit

Before wiring the water pipe, water is checked for foreign matter, for example, salt, metals and other impurities. A cleaning system is selected, that is, a suitable filter and when carrying out the water supply is inserted to purify the water. Filters are set at a distance of a meter from the accumulator.

Subject to assembly, reliable fastening and connection of all devices and accessories, this water supply will last a long time and will not cause complaints. The main thing is not to forget to change the filters when they are dirty, otherwise the water supply will deteriorate. Hope that private house water supply schemes  with a hydraulic accumulator you will come in handy, and you can spend

If a country house is supplied with water from a well or well, and not from a centralized system, then in most cases water supply schemes with a hydraulic accumulator are used. This allows you to ensure uninterrupted flow, good pressure in the network and extend the life of the pumping equipment.

This article will describe in detail the advantages of using the accumulator, options for connecting it to the system. As well as options for laying intra-house pipes.

Why do I need a hydraulic accumulator

Both a well, and a well can have an insufficient flow rate (see). In other words, they are not always able to give out as much water as you need in one go. Sometimes this problem does not arise immediately, but after several years of operation of the source.

It is logical that in this case the house should have a supply of water. But not in buckets and banks, but in the system itself. And this is realizable if you include a hydraulic accumulator or an accumulation tank in the water supply scheme.

Accumulator benefits

A storage tank is, as they say, “the last century”. It is inconvenient and not practical.

Judge for yourself:

  • It must be installed above the premises, water consumers, that is, in the attic. This means that it needs to be insulated, otherwise in winter the water will freeze.
  • No one removes the risk of leaks and tank overflows. This is rare, but it happens. The consequences are easy to imagine.
  • Water from the storage tank enters the devices under pressure of its own weight. And this is not enough for the normal operation of plumbing fixtures and especially household appliances - a washing machine and dishwasher.

The obvious conclusion suggests itself: to include storage capacity in the system only in small houses for summer use that are not equipped with modern appliances makes sense. If you live in the house all the time, the water supply scheme from the accumulator is more suitable for you.

And that's why:

  • This is a more advanced device - it allows you to adjust the pressure in the system according to your needs;
  • The tank should also be in a warm room, but this task is easier to solve, since it does not need to be raised to the highest point. For installation, both the basement of the house and any technical room are suitable;
  • Accordingly, possible leaks are not so terrible: water will not wet the floors, it will not spoil the repair and furniture.

How does he work

A hydraulic accumulator is a sealed container divided internally into two sections. A rubber diaphragm or a hollow pear can act as a separator.

Water enters one section and air is in the other, which is compressed as the first section is filled, creating pressure on the diaphragm.

As the tank empties during water analysis, the air pressure drops. When it reaches the minimum limit value, a pressure switch is activated, which starts the pump. He again pumps water into the tank until the pressure reaches a maximum.

As a result:

  • We have a constant pressure in the system;
  • The pump does not turn on at every turn of the crane, so its parts wear less and last longer;
  • The water supply circuit with a hydraulic accumulator allows you to always have a supply of water in case of its large analysis and the inability of the source to deliver the desired volume at a time.

The volume of the tank is selected based on the needs of the family. It can be both 5 and 500 liters.

What the system consists of

Now let's trace the entire path of water from the well / well to the furthest from the source.

We bring water to the house

So, we have a source of water near the house. From it, a water pipe is laid underground in the house. It should lie below the level of freezing of the soil or be laid together with a heating cable.

It is important. When choosing a place for a well, make sure that the septic tank in the country, a street toilet and other objects that pollute groundwater are at least 30 meters from it.

The pipe from the source is connected to the pumping station. Or, if it’s standing in the well, to the accumulator. A check valve is always installed in front of the pump so that water from it does not flow back to the source.

If water is needed not only in the house, but also in the yard, after the accumulator, a tee with a tap is placed on the pipe coming out of it. The home pipe leads to a water treatment system, at the outlet of which a tee is mounted again, dividing the flows into cold and future hot water.

Now more about how to properly connect a hydraulic accumulator with your own hands. It can be autonomous or be part of a pumping station, depending on which pump you use - submersible or surface.

Even with the explanations for the picture, it is quite difficult to understand what the assembly consists of and what the purpose of each fitting is.

Let us explain:

Fitting Connection sequence

The first is the adapter from the hose to a diameter of 32 mm.

Next, a tee with a tap is screwed on it, allowing you to drain the water to repair the system.

This element is necessary if you want to turn the pipe to the station.

The coarse filter traps sand and small stones, preventing them from entering the system. Without it, all subsequent elements can quickly fail.

In case of submersible pump a check valve is installed on the suction pipe. If you use a pump station with a surface pump, then its place immediately after the filter.

This connecting element allows you to make the unit collapsible for quick replacement of any failed fitting.

The shut-off ball valve can be installed anywhere. It serves to enable or disable the water supply.
  • If a pumping station is used, it remains only to connect the assembled unit to it, since the pressure gauge and pressure switch are included with it.
  • If the pump is in the well, the next step will be to connect a five-pin fitting through an American. The diagram below shows what each output is for.

A fine filter or a water treatment station is “planted” on the pipe leading to the accumulator.

Tip. Before buying equipment and collecting it, give water samples for research to understand what kind of treatment it needs.

Now you can do the internal wiring.

Internal wiring

To bring water to all "consumers", you need to buy pipes and all kinds of connecting elements. How many will they need? A diagram showing all the elements of the system with the distances plotted on it will help to answer this question.

But first you need to decide which connection method to use.

  • Serial connection is simpler and cheaper. But with this connection, while turning on several cranes, the pressure in the farthest from the accumulator will be low.

  • A collector connection involves the supply of a separate line to each device. All of them come out of a common collector mounted on the input. Such a scheme provides equal pressure at all points of water consumption. But the cost of the water supply will be much higher.

The first method is suitable only for houses with a small number of consumers and a small length of water supply. The second is more practical and effective when it comes to a private house in which a large family lives and all the necessary equipment is installed.

  • After the tee, dividing the total flow into cold and hot branches, a collector with the required number of leads is installed on the cold water pipeline. Each of them must have a stopcock.

  • The second pipe after the tee is connected to the inlet pipe of the water heater.

  • The pipe leaving the water heater is also equipped with a collector, from which the lines diverge to individual consumers.

If you think over everything in advance and do the work carefully, the entire pumping, cleaning, heating and water distribution unit can be accommodated in a small area - in the corner of the room, cabinet or niche.

The following illustrations will help you better understand how the various stages of work are performed:

Tip. To reduce pressure loss, try to make fewer turns and angles. For example, you can lay pipelines under the floor in a straight line from the collector to the drawer.

Conclusion

Schemes of water supply systems with a hydraulic accumulator will provide in a private house no less comfort than in an apartment with a centralized supply. If you know and understand the principle of the system, you can assemble it yourself. If you have all the necessary tools, it is not much more complicated than assembling the constructor.
