Semi-automatic reverse filters provide perfect cleaning of the screen or discs by backwashing, without having to separately disassemble and clean the filter. Unlike simple cleaning, when the filter surface is tangentially flushed, the backwash is directed perpendicular to the filter surface in the opposite direction of filtration. Thus, the filter barrier is effectively cleaned even of dirt that cannot be removed by simple blasting. The semi-automatic mechanism requires the operator to manipulate the control.

  • Cartridges for fine filters are widely used, in which a multilayer fabric element acts as a filtering material.

If connected to the sewer network, the rainwater drainage on the shaft is adjusted to the required maximum flow rate. The main stream of rainwater carries the highest share of pollution. This influx is accumulated in the pre-treatment unit and thus prevents the passage of tunnels or blocks from the main pollution.

  • The next large group of filters are devices with mineral sorbent filling.

As a filler, natural minerals are used - such as schungite or zeolite.

It is believed that such filters fully combine fine mechanical and chemical water purification. In any case, reviews about them can be found the most positive.

In addition, due to reliable pre-processing, there is no gradual clogging of drag and drop objects and, therefore, the storage volume is reduced. Another advantage of the shaft is the possibility of its use as a connecting installation for several sources of rainwater.

Rainwater is then fed through a filter built into the shaft, into an absorption device or into a drain using a controlled drain. After the rains have ended, the accumulated water is gradually pumped out or drained by a controlled drain into the drainage network.

  • Another category of filling filters is with an organic sorbent filler, which is usually activated carbon.

Such devices give a high degree of purification, but their resource is small, especially taking into account the fact that dissolved chlorine contained in water has a decomposing effect on the structure of the coal charge.

In this area, dirt, such as dust and fine sand, gets into impregnated objects. From here it is already possible to simply pull out all deposits and mechanical impurities through the recovery car in order to maintain the storage space in the maximum state. Harder particles can also destroy the ceramic surfaces of leaking batteries.
