And the objects that can be found in various houses and caves scattered around the area are apparently invisible. Tubes, springs, fabrics, cans ... something will do for crafting, something for a stove, and the average player-collector will not leave anything just like that. He will move back and forth with the tenacity of a snail, collecting everything that is not nailed down. There is not much sense from this, most things will never come in handy. The ones needed for crafting are marked with a special marker, and besides them, the essentials can only be food and drink. Residents, as a rule, look for boards for kindling the main fire themselves when you send them on instant tasks, and everything else will only make the passage more boring.
For balance, the authors decided to add "fun" to the gameplay. At any time, one of the four main quests can get bugged and become impossible. At any time, the inventory can fail, not allowing you to clear yourself of trash. At any time, your hero can get stuck in the textures of the snow and die. At any time, the game can simply delete your saves. In addition, at the time of this writing, contrary to the assurances of the developers, she has not learned to support the keyboard and is ready again and again to provide the protagonist with dancing around the key object without the ability to take it: you cannot click on the desired thing from the gamepad, and the use of the object is not always visible and the dialog button does not work intermittently. The passability of the game tends to zero.
Perhaps only the fastest and sharpest will be able to overcome Impact Winter. To survive, you do not need to patiently wait all thirty days, it is enough to complete tasks (until they fail) and accumulate experience. For quests and levelups you will be "cut off", and as a result, the heroes will remain in captivity not for a month, but for a couple of weeks. Thanks for that too. Thank you that the number of bugs here is exactly such that the players have a tiny chance to complete the game to the end and not go crazy. Thanks for downloading here in minutes, not hours. Thank you that the developers do not offer to buy patches as DLC (at least not yet).
But no matter how much you thank the game, the result will remain the same - it does not want you to play it. By hook or by crook, she will push you out of herself, each time sending unplanned technical surprises or banal boredom to meet potential adventurers. There is a chance that your stay in it will be limited to a couple of hours, after which Impact Winter will fly away from the hard drive or go through a refund system. This is exactly the case when the "early access" project was vital, but it was not used. Instead, the authors brushed aside the phrase of the well-known cartoon character: "And so it will do!"
