All game series all over the world. The best must-see series of games. The Elder Scroll Series

The world's first computer game is considered to be a rocket simulator, which had no name, but was patented as a "cathode ray tube amusement device", or, in Russian, "an entertainment device based on a cathode ray tube" (1947). Then the programmers managed to develop an algorithm for a chess game, but for its full-fledged launch, power was required unattainable at that time.

The first "truly computer game" was Tic-Tac-Toe (OXO), which appeared in 1952 and ran on an EDSAC computer that consisted of approximately 3,000 lamps. It was the first device of this type with the ability to store a program in memory. The commercial use of games did not begin until almost 20 years later - in September 1971, the Galaxy Game and the first arcade machine appeared. Probably, this moment can be called the beginning of the era of computer and video games.

Almost 42 years have passed since then, and the gaming industry has grown into a huge force and big business. During this time, "one-day" games arose and projects were born, which then dictated the development of a new direction of entertainment.

We have compiled a rating of "long-running" game series and franchises that originate in the last century and still exist today. It is impossible to list all the worthy projects, but some of the most notable ones can be mentioned.

10. Oh sport, you are life!

We decided to include in the rating the FIFA series for regularity. Since 1993, Electronic Arts has been relentlessly releasing new soccer games. For people far from sports, FIFA Soccer 95 will differ from FIFA 14 only in graphics and controls.

Those who are familiar with the most popular sport will fundamentally disagree, in which we support them. Moreover, real players from existing teams enter the field. In 2004, gamers were allowed to create their own character, later the physics model was significantly improved. As often happens, there is no limit to perfection, which fans of the series regularly remind the developers of, poking them into various flaws. Igrodels nod, do their own thing and continue to release new games on a regular basis. So far - once a year.

9. Brave new world

The concept of "civilization" has been known since antiquity, but the global turn-based strategy of the same name came out much later - in 1991. Watering your garden is not enough here, as in Farm Frenzy, or just building a city, as in SimCity, or establishing economic relations between regions, as in Settlers. Everything should be global, and you can't do it by ancient times.

The series is still alive and well. Despite the fact that the last game, Civilization V, was released in 2010, the developers are supplying interesting and voluminous additions: in 2012, Gods & Kings was released, in the current one - Brave New World. Critics took the release of the add-on as a laudatory ode to Firaxis Games: they say, they do not rest on their laurels, they work for the good of civilization.

8. Heaped up here

The oldest series in our rating and the same age as many current gamers is SimCity. It was developed by Will Wright, who founded the Maxis studio, which released the city planning simulator. Wright made it possible for people of all ages to play in the sandbox, building their own toy and interactive world that will live forever. SimCity is so good and thoughtful that some have encouraged it to be used as a tutorial for aspiring mayors to teach them the basics of city governance.

With each new game the series became more mature and more varied, more complex and more beautiful. Over time, the gamer received more and more freedom of action, which resulted in growing responsibility. The success of SimCity has led critics to be overly critical of it. However, it did her good.

The 2013 game has become more technologically advanced and has received fashionable social "chips" in the form of interaction with other gamers. Fly in the ointment can be called Electronic Arts's greed (or its desire to fight windmills, that is, fans of pirate games). As a result - the eighth place.

7. Milla Jovovich and all-all-all

Of course, Ukrainian Milla Jovovich is not directly related to either the survival horror genre or Shinji Mikami, who was fond of the work of George Romero. However, the actress, who fights movie zombies from year to year, is part of the franchise.

So, in seventh place - Resident Evil. Films, cartoons, comics, novels, video games - "scarecrows" and "horror stories" for every taste. The original game was released in 1996 on the PlayStation, and later made it to the PC. The highly prolific Capcom effectively supports the life of dead and decaying creatures, generating interest in them with the release of various media content. The company sees its target audience in all gamers, therefore not only offers games for consoles, but also ports them to personal computers.

Just a few days ago, Capcom admitted that it is not particularly happy with Resident Evil 6 and in the next game in the series, it will "return to the origins of the survival horror genre." Let's believe, however, the same was said shortly before the release of RE6.

6. Little green men

The first game in the X-COM series appeared in 1993, developed by Mythos Games, and published by MicroProse, which was discontinued in 2003. The actions of the sci-fi X-COM: UFO Defense took place not on distant planets, but on their native Earth in the near future. Role-playing strategy was a representative of smart games that required many different nuances to be taken into account.

During the existence of X-COM, only six games were released, including a remake of the original game (2012). The tactical shooter XCOM is expected to be released at the end of 2013.

The series does not boast huge sales, but its legacy is hard to overestimate. Some studios have tried to exploit it, but not very successfully.

5.No Prisoners, No Survivors

The huge and inexhaustible Command & Conquer franchise began with C&C: Tiberian Dawn in 1994. Like Fallout, which was the ancestor of Wasteland, the C&C series originated from Dune 2. Those who know what it is computer games, probably heard about the Brotherhood of Nod and the GDI, remembers Tanya Adams from the Red Alert series and "Joseph Stalin" demanding not to take prisoners and not to leave alive. Fans are familiar with the unusual shooter C&C: Renegade, which allowed them to get a closer look at everything that looked like a bunch of pixels in the original RTS (from today's point of view).

Westwood Studios helped create the whole genre and successfully worked in this direction, releasing several episodes in parallel. Later, EA Los Angeles got down to business (the "good" Electronic Arts absorbed and then liquidated WS), which released several interesting projects.

In 2013, we expect the new Command & Conquer to appear. It was formerly known as C&C: Generals 2, however, following the new tradition, EA decided to restart the series and "start all over again." We will find out how successful it is in the fall, but for now - the fifth place in the rating.

4. The topic of tombs is not revealed

Computer archaeologist Lara Croft was born in 1996, that is, relatively recently. The British woman was initially in a very favorable position: all her advantages were evident and for several generations of gamers she probably even became a sex symbol. At some point, the baton was picked up by Angelina Jolie, who embodied Croft on the big screen.

The game Tomb Raider was one of the founders of 3D shooters, but several genres were mixed in it, which caused an acute addiction to it. This affected the sales of the original "Tomb Raider" - they became the largest in the entire series.

Lara's long journey continues to this day - recently there was an updated in every sense Tomb Raider. The heroine has become closer "to the people", having turned into an ordinary person (for which you need to thank the lead screenwriter Rihanna Pratchett, who worked on BioShock Infinite, Mirror's Edge, and other projects).

Unfortunately, the 2013 game could not repeat the record of its progenitor. However, the next reboot went to the benefit of the series, therefore - the fourth place.

3. The game of catch-up

Third place went to the Need For Speed series. Cult racing is playing catch-up with itself. He is no longer the standard of racing, this title is still confidently selected by other projects, including those from Codemasters. Since 1994, no less than 19 games have been released, anniversary, 20th in a row, Need for Speed: Rivals will start delighting gamers in November.

It seems incredible now, but Road & Track Presents: The Need for Speed has been optimized for monitors with a resolution of 320 × 200 and 640 × 480 pixels. It had only eight available cars and one secret - Warrior with some incredible characteristics. The race achieved recognition, with critics praising the graphics and realism of the cars on the road.

Notable milestones in the development of the series are called the release of NFS III: Hot Pursuit (1998), NFS: Porsche Unleashed (2000), NFS: Underground (2003) and NFS: Most Wanted (2005). After NFS: Carbon (2006), the developers apparently got bogged down in experiments or decided to change their strategy. From that moment, some kind of throwing began, the invention of the bicycle. The NFS: Shift project corrected the situation somewhat, but then there was a "miscarriage" in the form of NFS: World (2010).

The success of the series decided to follow the sinusoid: "good game" - "average" - "horror" - "average", etc. Sometimes there was a feeling that all the forces were thrown into marketing, and the gameplay and everything else faded into the background. At the same time, Need For Speed is making good strides to become the best, and perhaps NFS: Rivals will help her with that. Also in the near future, a feature film based on the series may be released ("Fast and the Furious" is not officially related to NFS).

2. The bright future of the post-apocalyptic world

We gave the second place to Wasteland and Fallout. Fallout has been hailed as the unofficial sequel and spiritual successor to Wasteland, which was created by Interplay Entertainment. The latter is the publisher of Fallout, released in 1997 and developed by the recently reborn Black Isle Studios. If you trace life path both games, there are analogies with "Santa Barbara", so everything looks confusing and dramatic.

The Fountain of Dreams project, which was supposed to be the official sequel to the brainchild of Brian Fargo, Alan Pavlisch, Michael Stackpole and Ken Andre, appeared a few years later. But the publisher Electronic Arts at the last moment refused to position the game as a sequel. Also, none of the Wasteland team worked on Fountain of Dreams. The work was carried out on Meantime - it used the same engine and described events in the same fictional world. The project died at the beta stage.

Fallout was released in 1997, but EA refused to transfer the Wasteland title to Interplay, which likely influenced further destiny series. Many elements migrated to a new branch, made it to Fallout 2 (1998). Later, Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel (2001) appeared, then Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel (2004). "New time" was marked by the release of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, which are not like their ancestors.

1997 saw the release of Carmageddon, Final Fantasy VII, Redneck Rampage, X-COM: Apocalypse, Fallout, Ultima Online, Tomb Raider II, as well as many other games, among which, already at the end of the year, Grand Theft Auto was presented.

From the documents, "declassified" in 2011, it became known that initially the action-adventure game appeared as Race'n'Chase, but later the name was changed. The development of the project began in the spring of 1995, and was completed in July 1996. After its release, the game was scolded for its graphics, but praised for its sound and soundtrack. As a result, GTA became a bestseller in the UK, everyone talked about it, everyone bought it.

DMA Design Limited released Grand Theft Auto 2 in 1999, and Grand Theft Auto III in 2001. The game gained three-dimensional graphics and set a record for sales, making itself even louder. Subsequent additions (Vice City, San Andreas and others) were developed by the already well-known Rockstar North.

The month has come to an end, which means that the time has come to sum up the results of the next vote "TOP 10"... This time, users of the site were engaged in the selection of the most hackneyed and completely disgusted game series. The task, frankly, is not too difficult, but interesting in its own way. If you prefer watching a video to reading, then you can find the corresponding video with a summary of the results right below this text. Let's start parsing!

The Crysis series, which follows the adventures of courageous nanosuits and their friends, is ranked tenth. In fact, there are not so many games in the Crysis lineup: only three. She couldn't get bored with too many parts. On the other hand, around each Crysis, controversy constantly flares up, dedicated to the same topic - graphics. It is believed that with each new part, the series becomes more beautiful and dumber. Well, maybe there is truth in this. One way or another, we will not see the new Crysis soon.

Battlefield is in ninth place in our ranking. It would seem that there are not so many games in this series, but in fact there are almost 25 products with the word Battlefield in the name. Battlefield 3 has dramatically expanded the audience of the line, and now everyone is playing it. And this despite the fact that the game has undergone some simplifications. In the fourth part, DICE promises to improve: there will be a commander mode, and advanced destructibility, and blah-blah-blah ... All this, of course, is cool, but it seems to us that DICE would not hurt to overestimate the benefits of a blue light filter. Although he is not bad (in some moments), but how much can you?

8th place:ProEvolutionSoccer - 534 votes

Ah, those good old football simulators. Such games are simply obliged to come out once a year! Since the beginning of the 2000s, Konami has been desperately trying to "outplay" Electronic Arts with its super popular FIFA series. It turns out like when. According to our estimates, in the entire history of PES, the publisher has released 12 games (if you do not deviate from the main line). The thirteenth will be released this year. By the way, there will be a new engine in it. Alas, we will never see the nextgen. The developers do not yet know what to fit into PES 14 so that its release on the next generation consoles is justified. We honestly don't know either. Maybe a dog?

7th place:ResidentEvil - 964 votes

Here comes Resident Evil. Well, what about without her? Games from this series have been released with enviable regularity since 1996. In the past, that is, in 2012, Capcom released three Resident Evil at once: Revelations, Operation Raccoon City and, in fact, Resident Evil 6. Of course, not all of them were warmly received by the audience. And you say Assassin's Creed. Ubisoft still has someone to learn from! Of course, modern Resident Evil is already far from its roots, which is why Capcom is constantly attacked by phagates. It seems like it's time for the publisher to take a break. For at least a couple of years. However, who are we kidding?

6th place:GrandTheftAuto - 1027 votes

The Grand Theft Auto series is famous not only for its gangster romance and radio-controlled helicopters, but also for its very interesting stories (for the most part). Be that as it may, our GTA users are already bored. Even though everyone is waiting for the fifth part (and we know, believe me. We have a special button). In principle, we understand you perfectly. GTA is constantly heard: this name appears not only in the context of discussions on gaming forums, but also in an endless stream of news about schoolchildren who have gone head-on who stabbed / shot their mother. Bad, bad game. But in the fifth part there will be a dog.

5th place:Counter-Strike - 1092 votes

Counter-Strike is another series that got our users sick. Again, she cannot be blamed for the abundance of parts. The original Counter-Strike is not enough (of course, it has a million clones). But we can guess why this series made it to this list. Many of us have gone through Counter-Strike, through this harsh school of God knows what. Especially lucky those who got acquainted with this game during the heyday of computer clubs. It was real hell. Those days have already passed, but Counter-Strike remains. There is also the reference rage, which can be heard so often during the next match. Some things never change.

Just think: FIFA has beaten PES again. This series will celebrate its twentieth anniversary this year. Over the years, Electronic Arts has released about two dozen games with this name. The popularity of football is great, and so is the popularity of FIFA. We think everyone knows that EA Sports is one of the key divisions of Electronic Arts, and FIFA is its main gem. The new part of the famous football simulator will be released this year, right on schedule. Most likely, we will not be mistaken if we predict this episode a long, long life. At least she will live as long as Electronic Arts is alive. Do you know how much Electronic Arts is left? This publishing house will hold out for more

3rd place:NeedforSpeed - 1474 votes

And here is the pulp itself. Unforgettable Need For Speed opens the top three finalists. Year after year - God knows what. Electronic Arts goes from one extreme to another: in just the last two years we've seen a half-film called NFS: The Run, and then they tried to tease us with the prospect of a Most Wanted revival. One thing we know for sure: all those who hoped for the return of that same MW from 2005 were left with nothing. On the other hand, the Most Wanted itself eight years ago and the Underground that preceded it at one time were also perceived as a total departure from the canons of the series. It's funny, but now they are considered reference parts. Although the games, I must say, are really good. And what is happening with the series today defies description. Need For Speed earned its third place.

2nd place:Assassin 'sCreed - 2393 votes

The second place is taken by the Assassin's Creed series by a large margin. Have you forgotten that Ubisoft is currently developing three new games from this series at once? Okay, let one of them be Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. And the rest? The fifth and sixth parts? Yes, easily. Ubisoft will probably squeeze all the juices out of its golden series for a long time. Assassins are becoming more and more, and the fan base of these games is growing proportionally. Fortunately, Ubisoft still manages to keep the brand. Other developers would have rolled the series to the bottom long ago (see third place).

1st place:CallofDuty - 3617 votes

To be honest, when we started voting, we were a little afraid that everyone would vote for Call of Duty. Well, and someone would give a couple of hundred votes to Assassin's Creed. Instead of "TOP-10", we would have to represent "TOP-2". Fortunately, everything worked out, but Call of Duty is really in the lead, moreover, it is in the lead with a good margin. Are the players tired of looking at Price's mustache and Reznov's beard? Complaints about the fact that Activision has long gotten everyone with its Call of Duty, we hear since the release of Modern Warfare 2. The completely tortured audience, hating Activision, forcefully goes to the store and buys new parts of the series. Why is this so? Most likely, somewhere in their hearts, many hope that one day they will be able to feel from this game the same that they felt when the very first Modern Warfare was released. And in the end, they get another Price mustache, explosions and completely identical shootings. Alas, in many respects it was from these very ingredients that the recipe for the success of Modern Warfare consisted. It's just been too long ago.

That's all. The June ten came to an end. July "TOP-10" will be dedicated to the best games released on 8-bit consoles. Let's hit the old days! You can offer your options on our forum. See you in August!

Toys are a noble cause. They relieve stress, distract from reality, give a lot of impressions. Here is our top - what we personally tested and recommend: you will not regret your time, effort, or killed joysticks.

Ordinary people tell stories about going to work, sitting with friends in cafes and sleeping during breaks. To live brighter and have more cool stories in your arsenal about how you rescued princesses from the clutches of dragons, saved the world from the Forces of Evil and hijacked cars of civilians at your leisure, do the right thing - play games.

An important point: this is not generally recognized top best games, these are toys recent years, in which we, employees of 2x2, have buried more than one night and which we would recommend to everyone. Believe us, we will not advise you badly.

The Witcher 3. Wild Hunt

Platforms: PC, PS4, XBOX ONE

Geralt, a specialist in destroying monsters, travels through the fantasy world in search of the girl Ciri, who can stop the advent of the Wild Hunt (just take it for granted that this is bad and scary). He walks through fields and forests, kills griffons, sleeps with beauties and jokes during breaks. And a reaper, and a gamer on the pipe.

Any part of The Witcher is obscenely good, and with each next toy in the series, everything only gets better. This is even unfair in relation to competitors, who, a priori, should be very ashamed of what they are in comparison with The Witcher. "Wild Hunt" is super-developed quests, many of which hide an unrealistic cool story... All completed quests and decisions affect the ending of the game, which is cool and motivating. The combat system has received many advantages here since the time of the second part, Signs have gained in usefulness, the world is as detailed and open as possible.

It will appeal even to those who just love cool novels. And adored, how much the most epic coubs spawned by localization!

Journey

Platforms: PS3, PS4

You are a mysterious someone, your goal is to get to the sooooo distant mountain. The synopsis of the plot is described by this more than completely, but you can not even imagine what a magical and unusual gaming experience is hidden behind it. This is very meditative and beautiful game- music, graphics, landscapes - in which you will have to go through very picturesque locations.

Everything here is really unusual and unusual. No map, no clues, no multiplayer per se, but! During the journey, you can meet with another player and move with him to that very mountain... You do not know absolutely nothing about your companion - except that it is a living person. You have no means of communication, except for the semblance of shouts, and only at the end, after completing the "Journey", you see the name of your companion in the credits. Sooooo unusual and cool gaming experience.

Grand theft auto v

There is no point in promoting GTA. Every Pokemon knows about the delights of this world since Vice City. But the fifth part (aka the 15th game in the series) is something. Good heavens, Rockstar killed 266! million! dollars! in the development of the game! There are 3 main characters with elaborate characters, whose stories are intertwined. The final goal is to rob the US Federal Vault, carrying out more than $ 200 million in bags and pockets. Oh, my!

In GTA V there is maximum freedom: an open dynamic world, the ability to switch between characters at any time and as many as 3 endings of the main storyline. Steal, go to strip clubs, steal cars, love, watch TV, do yoga, play Tamagotchi, take selfies, transport contraband! Everything is possible here.

And breaking news for those who slept in the hole last years: multiplayer finally appeared in GTA V... Now all the same can be done online with your gang, and it is not at all necessary to have friends. But be prepared for a Game of Thrones-style death - very, very sudden.

Deponia The Complete Journey

Platforms: PC

Deponia is cool humorous quest that boosts logic and erudition... Ideal for those who hate shooting games and consider ordinary quests to be primitive and boring. The plot of the quest is that Rufus, tired of life on a small planet littered with garbage, one after another makes ridiculous escape plans.

Friends level Ikyu will not be required to pass, do not be alarmed, but the puzzles and plot are really cool and the solutions aren't always obvious. Deponia The Complete Journey is one of the best representatives in its genre. The only thing is, be prepared for the fact that localization killed a good half of the jokes, so if English permits, go through in the original.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

Platforms: PC, PS3, XBOX 360, PS4, XBOX ONE

A fabulous cooperative puzzle-adventure game with not the most intricate plot, but a very powerful moral background. There are two brothers, whose mother died a long time ago, and then suddenly his father was very sick. He can only be saved by the sap of a huge tree that grows behind mountains, forests, fields and generally very far away. A strong and dramatic story that the creators managed to tell without using words (at least understandable to humans) at all.

There is no cooperative as such here: you will play as both brothers at the same time(prepare joysticks, it will be hard without them). At first, the brain will refuse to understand how this is at all possible, but over time it will get involved and even begin to enjoy such a process. The gameplay is original and intuitive: only two buttons for interacting with the outside world, and two sticks for controlling the brothers.

There is nothing here besides the main storyline, and it goes through quite quickly - in 4 hours. All scenes and tasks are very original and atmospheric, there are no repetitive mechanics, but there are gorgeous colorful landscapes. The story itself is cruel, bloody in places, but, most importantly, very magical and emotionally powerful.

Platforms: PC, PS4, XBOX ONE

Online team shooter by Blizzard with fantasy art. In the future, the machines still rebelled, as the Terminator promised. But the Overwatch organization was able to overcome the rebellious robots. Everything calmed down, the guys from the organization ceased to be needed by humanity, because of which they were forced to go home. But after a few years, crime picked up steam, and Overwatch members had to re-team up and take up arms in order to save civilians.

Multiplayer Ideal raised to the absolute. From the experience of Team Fortress 2, which is played even after almost 10 years since its release, it is in principle obvious: team shooters live outside of time, like Tsoi, once they conquer their audience. Blizzard did not impose its game - the noise around her rose and did not subside from the first days of the beta release... And after the release, the servers, which were designed for something inhuman, fell. The stream of people wishing to play turned out to be more than this very "inhuman" one.

Overwatch is very different characters, each with its own history and skills, a bunch of arenas and modes(3 cards each). Persians do not need pumping or customization, everything is decided only by your personal skills- nothing extra. The gameplay is intuitive and straightforward, and due to the drawing, even your girlfriend will like it: it will stick to the monitor while you are doing the destruction.

Platforms: PC, PS4, XBOX ONE

The nuclear boom spawned the post-apocalypse. Only those who managed to get to the bunker survived. Everything is either half-destroyed or half-mutated. After 200 years, the hero gets out of the bunker and goes for a walk around the ruined world in search of his son, Sean the lamb.

Admittedly one of the most anticipated projects of 2015 rather successful than not. The locations are worked out, the enemies are very terrifying, the quests are interesting(although, in fairness, there is also a wild boredom like "but bring me this thing that lies quietly across the road"), the overall plot is gaining momentum, and in the end it turns out that the hero is involved in some wildest story. For fans of the original dilogy, it will cause pain and burning below the back, for everyone else it will be very playable.

Platforms: PC, PS3, PS4, XBOX 360, XBOX ONE

Hipster Adventure Movie Quest, very cool interactive daily routine where you live the life of a student girl Max. At a critical moment, a gentle creature discovers the ability to rewind time and correct mistakes. At first, the skill is used mainly for everyday student trifles, but in the course of the action it turns out that the city of Max is in danger of an apocalypse, and it would be good to prevent it.

The game was released as a series, by episodes, and if the first parts are similar to a girl series with a teenage drama, then somewhere from the middle, the sufferers fade into the background, and the main thing becomes The Hell of the Twin Peaks Girl Disappearance. Every decision and action has its fruits. and sooner or later will surely come around. Included - cool soundtrack, well-developed detective plot, realism with a pleasant dose of mysticism... It is disappointing, however, that the final choice is the same for everyone and does not depend on your previous decisions.

Uncharted 4: A Thief "s End

Platforms: PS4

The protagonist Nathan and his wife bought a house, chose the curtains to match the color of the sofas and happily live a quiet life until Nathan's older brother, who had been presumed dead for many years, is announced. Oh yes: in the previous parts of the game, Nathan was a treasure seeker. Little has changed here: suddenly a living brother says that a treasure awaits in Madagascar, and the guys go in search of the mythical Libertalia.

Impossible beautiful exclusive for Sonya, which made a lot of die-hard PCs get their hands on a console. "The way of a thief" is elaborate third-person action game with puzzles, shootouts(weapons have increased in the arsenal, and the shootings are approaching the title of ideal), action scenes at the level of Hollywood action movies and the ability to choose answers in dialogues. But be prepared for a very poor Russian localization.

Need for Speed (2015)

Platforms: PC, PS3, PS4, XBOX 360, XBOX ONE

There is no point in talking about the legendary Need for Speed races - they earned their name back in the distant 2000s. This is not just a game, this is a real era. The 2015 restart has everything that the mutated series managed to lose in the last parts: advanced car tuning, and a brave new open world, and races from the police.

At first it seems that the restart of the series is not an idea of the creators, but of PR people who wanted more gold from an already obsolete product. But in fact, it turns out that the game of the 15th year has absorbed all the best from the previous parts, and the output is The very essence of Need for Speed... A must for anyone who has ever felt an adrenaline rush at the keyboard, joystick or real steering wheel.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim

Platforms: PC, PS3, XBOX ONE

Welcome to the interactive Game of Thrones. You are a Dragonborn who comes to the province of Skyrim very conveniently just when you need him most. The world is facing death from dragons, and you have to overcome a bunch of difficulties to stop the fire breathers and their master Alduin.

The world is also infinitely open here, the player can do whatever he wants. The graphics are wildly beautiful and cause multiple aesthetic orgasms... A plus complete freedom of creativity: you can start a family, you can become a thief, a murderer, a noble knight - but at least a princess. There is spectacular battles, the ability to pump certain hits and skills... The plot is good because certain RPG engines generate their own stories that is original and addictive.

The most honest Skyrim trailer ever.

Platforms: PC, PS3, XBOX 360

Everything here is as gloomy as in horror stories about "black-black street in black-black city". Humans were mowed down by a disease that turns everyone into undead, and the main character embarks on a long trip to restore white balance and stop the impending Age of Darkness. And so you walk the world, completing quests and fighting enemy creatures.

It won't be fun here or just - only difficulty 180 leveled and fear, only hardcore... Remember "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" on Dandy, in which, dying, you found yourself at the very beginning? It's about the same, but lighter. Each creature taller than half a meter kills you in two spits, and each death throws back strongly, taking away the accumulated experience. But at least not to the beginning.
fosters character and works magic with the nervous system, and against the backdrop of a clear trend towards simplification of games, delightful and especially valuable. Mandatory for those who really like to overcome difficulties.

Tomb Raider (2013)

Platforms: PC, MAC, PS3, XBOX 360

2013 Tomb Raider is a prequel to the very first game in the series. Here Lara famously transforms from an archaeological university graduate into a fierce sex symbol for all gamers. In the story, Lara and an expedition are looking for a lost civilization, but a terrible storm destroys the ship, and then throws all the survivors to the shore of the apparently uninhabited island.

When Crystal Dynamics announced that its plans - modernize the most famous game woman, the world held its breath: of course, restarts are a terrible thing. But in the end it turned out to be very good: a perfectly executed third-person combat system, pleasant gameplay and a realistic system for acquiring survival skills. Truth, brain-cracking puzzles have gone into oblivion for which old Lara was so famous. But this is offset by a large number of advantages - take at least good competitive multiplayer system and Lara's chest that retained its elasticity.

Platforms: PC, PS4, XBOX ONE, ANDROID, IOS

Killed joysticks Dandy and childhood will never let go, but time goes by. In recent years, Mortal has been gaining momentum and evolving, and in the top ten it is felt especially powerfully: bones crunch here louder than ever... For example, Sonya and Johnny Cage had children who inherited their parents' love for blood and also rip out the insides of everyone. For example, in the 10th part, you can destroy, kghm, the manhood of a father by the hands of his own daughter.

New Predator Heroes, as well as those who returned from vacation (for example, Tanya from part 4). All in all, ideal k-to-combos for fighting games. And the variety has increased: now each hero can be prioritized in battle... From controversial moments - an opportunity arose ... buy Fatality... The archaic keystroke system still works, but now you can get away with it simply by paying.

She's "Look Dog", "Watch Dogs" and how else this name just not joked around. A guy in a fashionable cap is engaged in magical hacking - he hacks the phones of rich and respected people using bluetooth. At one party they fire him and start a chase, during which the hero's niece dies in an accident. And he decides to become an avenger.

Basic the plot is not that wow, not particularly memorable or stands out in some way... But there are funny dialogues and jokes, which smooths the situation. Full beauty and detail around, although there are problems with physics and textures... There will be many storyline Easter eggs, hide and seek games, action games, shootouts, racing and good missions outside the main storyline.

True, we never understood how the doggies are connected with all this.

First Person Adventure Shooter RPG Blend in which you play as a guy whose vacation went wrong. Jason Brodie (this is you, meet me) comes with friends to an exotic island, where they hang out, take off, take selfies, jump with parachutes, until one day they are captured by the sadistic pirates. Jason manages to escape, and he is eager to take revenge on a terrible revenge.

A cool open world with frighteningly realistic graphics and a plot from which there is no desire to break away... Players will need to storm pirate territories, hunt for all kinds of living creatures and evolve from a weakling to tough guy who saved friends and matured during the time you spent with him. A special must for fans "Lost".

A shooter that captures the imagination and strikes it to the deepest wilderness... Private detective Booker receives an order: to get to the flying city, whose location is not really known, and to rescue the girl from there. Then it turns out that some kind of utter horror is going on in the world and a destructive war is about to break out.

Subject blanks are very classic- a princess in a tower, a hero with a dark past, the world is on the verge of disaster. But all this is summed up in such a way that the result is something completely new.... And although the world of the game is fictional, you still immerse yourself in it and believe: atmosphere and detail take their... Here, what's cool every little thing is important, but only. Spectacular fights, a truly confusing story told in a movie-like shooter form.

Something very terrible happened in the world: everything fell apart into small pieces, and the only place that survived is the Bastion. The blond guy, for whom you have to play, wakes up in an incomprehensible place and is going to go towards this very Bastion, where he learns that the fortress has been destroyed, and in order to restore it (and the world) and destroy the universal Evil, you will have to make a lot of efforts than you and get busy.

Very nice and detailed adventure game, in which it is far from immediately clear that WTF is happening here . You travel to different locations, fight with local bosses and difficulties, then move back to the Bastion, where you choose which weapon to take and which potions to throw before the trip. Closer to the middle, you are already taking shape choose the right equipment strategically, which adds a decent amount of advantages to the game.

Platforms: PC, PS3, XBOX 460, PS4

Fantasy adventure, which at first glance looks very much like Bastion (the same developer, after all), but in fact is something completely different. You will have to play as the red-haired singer Red, whose life was recently attempted and who is determined to fiercely avenge it. On her side is a huge talking sword Transistor, in which the consciousness of an unknown person is placed, who saved Red's life.

Outwardly, everything is similar to Bastion: an action-RPG from a third person in which you have to travel through the most beautiful fantasy world, fight and do all sorts of small things. But the gameplay has become deeper since the first game of the studio, the story is more personal and the atmosphere is atmospheric. If you give free rein to whining, you can say about monotonous battles and a fairly short duration of the game.

Platforms: PC, PS3, XBOX 360

A high-quality puzzle experiment with fairly difficult puzzles- for logically thinking mazachists who like to test their intelligence and do not think of life without difficulties. The plot is simple: main character, Chell, wakes up in one of the chambers of the Aperture High Science Laboratory and attempts to escape. She has a portal cannon at her disposal, with which you can move yourself and other objects.

It will not be very difficult at first, but this is only at first.: further, even primitive things will become confusing, and an empty room will turn into a quest. Extremely good localization and a lot of high-quality humor... It is obliged to please those who love brainstorming and want to get maximum profit from games.
