A large canister will be a good base for a winter fishing box. Its size must be selected based on the required size of the box.

The easiest option is to make it from another smaller canister, cut it appropriately, and then mount it on the box using a furniture stapler, rivets, or bolts and nuts. Also, the pocket can be made from any sheet of plastic that is suitable for the size, for example, from a cheap plastic cutting board.

Another option is to make a box for ice fishing from plywood and wood. It should be borne in mind that such options are heavy, therefore they are not very convenient to use.
The first step is to prepare a drawing, indicating on it the desired dimensions of the future box. Then you need to cut out the blanks of the walls, bottom, cover and partitions from plywood.

The holders are mounted on self-tapping screws, while the edges that go inside the box must be sawed off with a hacksaw. Such fasteners must be placed strictly in the middle of each of the end parts of the box.
If desired, the assembled structure can be painted from a balloon with any paint to give it a more presentable look.

To prevent the box for winter fishing from slipping or falling off the shoulder when carrying, a piece of soft rubber or similar material must be glued to its belt.
