Looking ahead (to finish with an overview of the "battery" itself), I will say that the capacity pumped into a discharged battery turned out to be 700mAh during the first charge, which is three times less than the one declared by the seller. During the tests, it was revealed that the purchased batteries are worse than the "tired" originals.

A Panasonic ES-RT31 electric shaver was purchased quite a long time ago, and it was not that it was "dear as a memory" - but it suited me in everything and everything was efficient except for the fairly "stuck" native batteries, which it makes no sense to buy in the original because of the cost ( on ebay, for example, about $ 18, and shaving once or twice and charging again began to strain (one plus appeared, which began to charge in a few minutes :)

Why in such a form factor the "original" is produced I do not know, as an option in order to buy originals and thereby earn money on components. Or the batteries themselves have "something" different from their simple counterparts. For example, it was assumed that the long pin on "+" is some kind of overheating protection (like a fuse). Although it has a hole in the center, it looks like a pipe….

Well, we will not change to the original, so we will proceed to the direct replacement (alteration) for the standard ones.

Then we collect everything in reverse order ... special attention should be paid to the wiring, when I first assembled they hit the seal and the insulation was broken. These wiring must be routed carefully before final assembly.

Standard batteries have a capacity of 700 mAh, so the capacity of the purchased ones is usually not fundamental, it will still be higher. But just in case, we'll check the purchased ones;)

So, "relatives" (who are many years old) charge for 10-15 minutes and show almost 600 ... even strange, it seems that the capacity is not so small, but they are "tired" noticeably in the operating time.


Newly bought ... turned out to be only slightly higher, and approximately corresponded to the capacity of the new original ones, i.e. three times less than the declared one :) These are the "good" ones :)
Although I do not exclude the possibility that in the electric shaver itself there is some kind of "limiter" of charge, because the inserted old GP also showed a similar capacity. And I don’t have a separate smart for determining the NIMH capacity (I’m not going to buy it). Therefore, I cannot bear the final verdict on the purchased batteries - in this electric shaver, in principle, they work normally. Let's see in the process of using how much better they will be from their originals :)

Trying to charge new batteries ... charging ... Everything is fine, charging was completely successful, the shaver is working ... it will probably work for a while.

In the process of creating the review, I connected a device to measure the capacity of the batteries, and to connect it I needed to use a cord from the razor. As a result of crooked hands, I screwed on my own charger, which separately costs more than an electric shaver :)
I screwed it up so specifically - I did not think that it would be completely filled with resin inside ... the board split into several. parts in the process of disassembly (and it was a pity). As a result, one more revision was made, which may be useful to readers :)

During charging, the current jumps, but no more than 1.3A surges during charging, and up to 1.7 at the time of connection. I think it's okay, the charging is not heating up.
