    Bright bouquet option

As you can see, there is nothing difficult in drawing up a festive composition. A flight of imagination and experimentation will add uniqueness and charm to your bouquet. Your child will go to school on September 1 with pride, because he also participated in this magical action.

Good day, friends! Some parents prefer to approach the issue of choosing a bouquet in an extraordinary way, independently making original options for gift compositions or turning to the services of specialized salons. Others are not averse to presenting a nice bouquet for September 1 from flowers grown independently in their summer cottage. But each of them tries to make this fragrant and eye-pleasing symbolic gift in the hands of their child look both original and harmonious.

The Day of Knowledge is just around the corner, when thousands of smart first-graders from all over the country will hear their first bell at the solemn school assembly. An invariable attribute of this holiday for every little student is a bouquet of flowers, intended for their future teacher, with whom they will enter the school year.

Bouquet for September 1 for a first grader: with which one should go to the solemn line

There are many interesting ideas on how to make this or that bouquet. And the options for the bouquets themselves are incredible. I propose to consider the most interesting ideas, after which you will definitely decide what kind of bouquet your child will have on September 1.

Original bouquets

Sometimes very original solutions come to the place of the classics in the design of the bouquet. Here are just a few of them.

  • How do you like the idea of a small modest flower in a black pot, the surface of which can be used as a blackboard? Together with the baby, you can write wishes to the teacher or kind words to the teacher on it.
  • Or you can show off on a school ruler with a globe, and not simple, but voluminous, from large or small flowers.
  • You can please the teacher not only with the sight of beautiful flowers, but also with goodies. For such a case, there are bouquets of sweets, gingerbread or tea.
  • And in the decor of gift compositions, the use of various additional items is appropriate. So, for example, you can create a bouquet of balls or toys, supplement the design with stationery (for example, pencils), or build a beautiful structure with your own hands from cardboard, colored paper and ribbons.
  • Another unusual idea is a beautiful transparent jar as a vase, with toy plastic letters at the bottom, complemented by simple flowers such as asters or daisies.
  • For the class teacher, a wonderful sentimental gift will be a bouquet in a decorative flowerpot of homemade mini-flowers with photographs of all his students, boys and girls, which will remind you of your beloved class for a long time even years later.

Bouquets of pencils

Interesting bouquets are obtained by using a combination of flowers with pencils. There are several options for this design.

  1. In the first case, pencils or felt-tip pens are used to make an impromptu bright vase (more precisely, its likeness), in which the flowers are placed directly.
  2. The second option involves a composition that combines, in addition to flowers, the same pencils, as well as other small stationery, which give the bouquet a typical "school" character. This decoration made of stationery is perfect as a gift not only for September 1, but also for Teacher's Day.

Gift for a male teacher

While male teachers are often given the same flowers as their female counterparts, it is possible to subtly emphasize the gender of the gift if needed. To do this, in the design of the "masculine" bouquet, the emphasis is placed on the dark design of the packaging, and instead of the traditional varieties of flowers, cereals are used.

Bunch of gingerbread

As one of the varieties of sweet compositions, a bouquet of gingerbread can serve, which looks very unusual and will certainly delight everyone with its taste.

To implement such an idea, you will need several gingerbread cookies, which can be ordered at a pastry shop or prepared and painted on your own. To form a gift, you need skewers or special sticks stuck into each gingerbread. A bunch of ready-made gingerbreads is tied with a beautiful ribbon and decorated with additional materials to your liking.

Bouquet of sweets

Such a sweet handmade gift will delight the recipient not only with a creative design, but also allow him to enjoy the taste of such a fanciful dessert. Imagination when creating a bouquet of sweets is not limited by anything, so in the end you can get a real masterpiece.

Let's quickly evaluate the most popular ideas. To bring them to life, it is best to use chocolates in a bright foil wrapper. You will also need special skewers and corrugated paper for decoration. In some cases, ribbons, organza and other little things will not interfere with creating various props.

Let's take a closer look at a few master classes for making candy bouquets:

  • A pineapple... To make it, you need to cut a plastic bottle into two parts, insert the lower part inside the upper one, cutting off the excess from the lower one. The resulting shape is pasted over in even rows of round candies, the leaves are made of corrugated paper.

  • Candy tulips... Each candy is wrapped with a 10 by 10 cm piece of cloth to form a bud. Leaves are cut out of felt. With the help of green narrow tape, the finished bud and leaves are tied to a skewer to make a flower. After the required amount is collected, the ready-made "tulips" are collected in a bouquet and wrapped with a beautiful satin ribbon.

  • Roses, crocuses, candy poppies... The scheme for making such bouquets is approximately the same, the only difference is in the colors and the shape of the petals that will be used for work.

We attach candy to a skewer or wire, preferably in a shiny foil wrapper. Cut out blanks of petals of future flowers from corrugated paper, give them the necessary texture. We fix the petals around the candy with a thread to get the shape of the desired flower. Wrap the skewer and the base of the flower with green tape.

We place the finished products in a wicker basket or a small plastic flower pot, after placing a foam base in it. We decorate the stems and base with the remnants of corrugated paper.

  • "Rafaello"... Such a gift will be appropriate not only for September 1, but also at any other time outside the school (especially for a girl). They are often made to order, but it will be much cheaper to cook them yourself.

So, we take each of the "Rafaello" or "Ferrero Roche" sweets, wrap them with a transparent organza. Using ribbons, we fix each candy on a skewer or wire-stem wrapped in foil. We fasten all the stems together with transparent tape, decorate with corrugated paper, and then wrap the finished bouquet with organza with sewn beads.

The result is an extremely airy and romantic composition.

Balloon bouquets

The ballooning options that are gaining popularity in recent years will be a great alternative to the classic flower surprises. Moreover, you can order both ready-made compositions and make individual bouquets to your liking.

There are different uses for these holiday accessories.

  • In one case, miniature balloons serve as an additional decoration for conventional flower arrangements.
  • In other cases, flowers are made from special modeling balls (the so-called "sausages"), forming full-fledged bouquets. Usually, most customers prefer to buy ready-made products, because in order to make such flowers on their own, you need to thoroughly practice in this matter.

Such armfuls look quite funny and unusual, so they are suitable not only for the holiday on September 1, but also fit, for example, for a visit to a matinee in a kindergarten.

Budget compositions

Holiday bouquets don't always have to be chic and expensive. Cheap options will also be appropriate, especially if you approach this matter with fiction.

For example, a well-chosen composition of small wildflowers, complemented by decorative accessories, will look no worse than exotic specimens, but will certainly stand out for its elegant simplicity.

And a few garden flowers, carefully grown in the country, are in no way inferior to the chic store flowers, and often surpass them in aroma.

Tea Bouquet Idea

And now I will tell you how to arrange another unusual gift. We are talking about a bouquet, which will be based on beautifully decorated tea.

For this composition we select elite tea bags in stylish foil packaging. We place the bags on a frame, which you can buy in a gift shop or make yourself. We make flowers from corrugated paper (it is possible on the basis of sweets), on long stems-skewers.

We fill the remaining space between the bags with ready-made flowers using organza and ribbons, fasten the stems and decorate the composition.

Fruit bouquet idea

Another edible version of the gift composition involves the use of seasonal gifts of nature in the composition.

A number of shops offer ready-made bouquets, both small and simply huge. They are based on apples, citrus fruits, berries. All this beauty is complemented by flowers, as well as the minimalist design of the bouquet.

However, there is nothing difficult in collecting such a bouquet ourselves, only in our case the flowers will be the basis, and the fruits will serve only as an addition. Grapes, apples, and other fruit joys at the end of August will perfectly fit into the company of flowers.

A frame, corrugated paper, a decorative basket and ribbons will help bring this beautiful idea to life.

Toy composition idea

Such a bouquet is made according to the same principle as compositions of fruits, sweets and tea, except that in this case, miniature soft toys and stationery are used, which are located on the frame and supplemented with fresh flowers. The whole composition is decorated with ribbons, corrugated paper or organza.

Bell

Thematic options abound with a wide variety of ideas. I suggest you take a look at the symbolic bouquet that will organically look in the hands of any student, especially one who is just going to grade 1.

This idea is called "Bell".

Cut off the upper third from the plastic bottle. We glue the outside with organza or beautiful paper, insert the bottom inside - a floral sponge. We make flowers from sweets, wire and corrugated paper to fill our bell. Decorating with paper parts and organza, voila - you're done!

Sunflower Ideas

A sunflower is a rather original flower, if a child comes on September 1 with a bouquet of sunflowers, instead of ordinary roses or chrysanthemums, I think he will be very impressed and delight the teachers.

You can make a simple bouquet consisting only of sunflowers, or you can supplement it with a variety of color compositions.

Irises will dilute yellow colors best.

Roses will add elegance to the bouquet.

Solidago, chrysanthemums and chamomile add a summer touch.

Greenery combined with chrysanthemums and alstroemerias will add spice to the bouquet.

A wonderful autumn bouquet with roses and mountain ash will be remembered and will pleasantly surprise every teacher with its originality.

Chrysanthemum

Of course, chrysanthemums do not look as peculiar as sunflowers, but it all depends on how and with what to present them. Let's take a look at some ideas for beautiful and inexpensive bouquets of these flowers.

The options can be as follows:

  • Bouquet of colorful chrysanthemums.
  • These flowers look very gentle in combination with roses.
  • The combination of lilies and chrysanthemums is a great option for a holiday.

Ideas for bouquets with roses can be as follows:

  • In tandem with chrysanthemums, roses are delicious.
  • If you add orchids to the above option, the bouquet will become even softer.
  • A bouquet of roses and daisies will look quite unusual.
  • Lilies also go well with roses.

Variants of compositions from gerberas

Gerberas are beautiful even in solitude, it is enough to collect a bouquet of these flowers, which have a variety of colors, and it will be in no way inferior in beauty even to beautiful roses.

You can pair them with multiple colors for variety. Gerberas with:

Zinnia bouquets

These suburban flowers are extraordinarily beautiful. Here are some successful combinations of zinnia with other plants:

Dahlia bouquets

These flowers have a chic and lush look. The composition of them always looks presentable and bright. You can make a bouquet exclusively from geogrines, or you can diversify it with other flowers.

So, dahlias go well with:

  • Greens (in this case it is hypericum, but absolutely any can be used).
  • Hydrangea.
  • Asters, chamomiles and other garden flowers.

Lily variant

These flowers are combined with many color compositions. Here are some of the most popular bouquets using lilies:

  • Roses + lilies (dianthus can be added).
  • In combination of irises and lilies, a gorgeous bouquet is obtained.
  • Gerberas + tulips + lilies.

Best regards, Anastasia Skoreeva

There are only a few days of vacation left. Notebooks and briefcases have already been bought, the most elegant blouses and shirts are being ironed, summer readers' diaries are urgently being completed ... And, of course, both parents and children think about beautiful bouquets, with which almost all students of the country traditionally go to school.

"Many mothers want to do it with their own hands, or better - together with their child. We invite you to get acquainted with different ideas for decorating a school bouquet .

Experts advise taking into account a few simple rules when composing or choosing a bouquet:

  • The bouquet should not weigh more than 1 kg.
  • It is better to give preference to rounded, not too long bouquets, especially if the student is still small in stature.
  • Flowers should be bright enough, because this is a children's party!
  • The bouquet should not smell too much.
  • Flowers should be liked by the child himself, be sure to ask his opinion.

The basis of "home" bouquets is most often seasonal flowers: asters, chrysanthemums, gerberas. Of course, roses and gladioli are not forgotten (although the latter are not so popular now, but more on that below). But even humble garden flowers are great for a wide variety of combinations.

In addition, the bouquet can be supplemented with what is now growing in the forest and in the field: mountain ash, which is especially abundant this year; sunflowers, bunches of viburnum, spikelets with grains, small apples, leaves of different trees ... in a word, there are a lot of options!

First, let's talk about only "natural" compositions.

Here, for example, what a bouquet based on gerberas is offered on our website by the author Olga Kotkova:

By the way, mountain ash can also be black-fruited, this will add an unusual touch to the bouquet:

Ripe ears of corn gently complement the composition, recalling the end of summer:

A modest, but so cute and uncomplicated bouquet based on asters and daisies. In stores and salons, you probably won't find these colors:

Here comes the gladiolus! Its great length and weight are invisible here: only one flower was chosen, with smaller, shading "neighbors":

It has already become a tradition to include various school supplies in various bouquets.

The undisputed leader in this for several years has been ... pencils! Various combinations are possible here.

And here is a short master class, a stand for a bouquet of multi-colored threads based on PVA glue:

A very popular option is with a round frame stand. Usually the frame is made of cardboard, often wrapped in sisal. The berries look laid out on a platter; in the latter version, the letters are interestingly used:

You can make an original and uncomplicated bouquet using literally improvised means - leaves of house plants, ordinary ballpoint pens and notebook sheets:

You can add rulers as a decor, or you can add apples - for which there is enough imagination and desire!

In addition to pencils, you can take a variety of school attributes: a sharpener, a small globe, a square, a palette, even a small set of paints. Here are several options for such bouquets:

And here ... a spring has become an unusual "decoration" for a boy's bouquet! The bouquet itself is made using a cardboard frame, reinforced with wire and decorated with wrapping paper. The pencils have been sawn to pieces here.

September 1 is inexorably approaching, and it is time for someone to go to kindergarten, someone to school, and parents will, as usual, have the final running after white bows, the right shift and beautiful bouquets for their favorite educators and teachers. We, as mothers, who are completely partial to any applied art, thought and thought and decided that this year we need to collect the bouquet with our own hands. Because what is in the nearest shops near the metro causes great sadness, and the desire to try yourself as a florist has long been present in the “to do” list. And so that everything was straightforward, we asked a professional florist from give us a small master class and tell us how to collect, combine and what is the best way to pack bouquets. We share floral secrets with you.

Spiral bouquet

To work you will need:

Flowers.

There are no strict rules for choosing flowers in floristry, you can safely choose flowers to your liking. For more harmonious combinations, you can use the color wheel or inspiring photographs by professional florists. In order for the bouquet to be interesting, choose flowers of different textures. And pay attention to the choice of greenery, it will add splendor and freshness to your bouquet. The bouquet will look "alive", as if it had just been picked in the garden.

For our bouquet we have chosen: Caramel carnations, Dianas Memori dahlias, Gloris spray roses, Ballet strong and pistach branches.

Pruner and scissors.

Pruner - for trimming flowers, scissors - for paper and ribbons.
Do not prune the flowers with scissors, they injure the capillaries of the stems, and the flowers drink less water, which affects their firmness in the vase. If you don't have a pruner, you can use a thin clerical knife.

Ribbons.

Leg-split.

It will be required for the technical dressing of the bouquet.

Wrapping paper.

Initially, paper performed an exclusively protective function during transportation, but in our time, when the world is ruled by kraft, paper has become the logical completion of the bouquet. You can choose from kraft plain or with a print. Now the choice of craft is limitless, for every taste, as they say. We also like to use tissue paper for packaging, it crunches so amazingly.

Before proceeding with the assembly of the bouquet, you should remove the lower leaves and branches from the flowers, the thorns should also be removed from roses - if this is not done, then the water will quickly begin to rot, and the flowers will not stand for a long time in the vase. Then make a fresh cut of the stems, preferably obliquely, put the flowers in water and leave them for a couple of hours so that the flower "comes to life" after being transported to Russia without water. And after that you can collect the bouquet.

Take the first flower in your left hand and place it vertically, and with your right hand add all subsequent flowers slightly obliquely from left to right, this arrangement resembles a spiral, where the name of the technique comes from. Rotate the bouquet periodically so that the flowers are evenly distributed throughout the bouquet. Or, when setting back flowers, change direction and place the stems obliquely from right to left.

Then take the twine and tie the bouquet in the place where you are holding the stems with your hand. After that, tie the technical dressing site with satin ribbons and tie a bow.

There are many ways to package a bouquet. We have chosen the way of packing with corners. Cut 2 square sheets, fold them in corners and wrap the bouquet with paper, tie it with twine to fix the paper. Trim the stems of the flowers. After the bundle, leave about 1/3 of the length of all the stems. And your bouquet is ready!

The cost price of a bouquet.

And now about the fun part. How much will a self-assembled bouquet cost?

If you act like professional florists, you need to go to the base and buy flowers there in order to get them at the lowest cost. The cost price of flowers will be minimal, however, you will have to buy each of the items in packs. Less is usually not sold. Plus, you will need to sign an agreement with the seller, and not all work with individuals. The same story, only without contracts, awaits you at all kinds of bases, such as Mostsvettorg and ProstoTsveta, only the price for a pack will be already with a tangible markup. Therefore, we are not considering this option. But if you are lucky, you already have a contract with a flower supplier, and all that remains is to pay for your choice of flowers, greenery and craft, the total purchase amount will be approximately 3395 rubles.

The second option: you can go to the subway or to the flower salon and pick the flowers that you want to see in your bouquet. In this situation, it is better to visit the salon in advance, 2-3 days in advance, in order to pre-order and make a reservation for flowers and greenery. Because On August 29-31, there will be excitement, and everything that has been delivered will be sold clean. We counted how much the flowers used in our bouquet now cost at retail, and the amount was also about 4000 rubles.

In the third option, you simply go to your favorite flower studio, to your favorite florist and order a bouquet from him. This is, surprisingly, the most budgetary option. Because a bouquet like ours will cost you , for example, in 2500 rubles.

Output: if you want to make a bouquet for September 1 with your own hands - look for large bases, buy flowers in bundles and train your creative muscle. This option is very good for those who need to congratulate both educators, managers, and teachers at the school of an older child with flowers. Then you can really benefit from the cost price of each individual bouquet.

The most economical option is to order a bouquet at a flower shop. The workshop buys flowers in bulk, reducing costs due to volume, plus removes the problem with logistics and delivery of flowers home from you. And the best part: ordering flowers in proven workshops from good florists, your bouquet will definitely be the most beautiful and most memorable.

So the choice is yours.

So the summer has flown by - on the threshold of September 1, the school "new year". And if the traditional attribute of ordinary New Year's holidays is a Christmas tree, then the new school year is always marked by a motley abundance of bright bouquets.

If you have a summer cottage, flowers will probably grow there, and very soon you will be collecting a bouquet for your son, daughter or schoolchildren. And so that we don't have to rush around the garden at the last minute with a pruner in our hands, let's think in advance how we will please our child's beloved teacher this year with such a beautiful and unusual way.

Several important rules

The first thing to consider is flower arrangement size... It is always a little sorry for a first-grader baby peeking out from behind a huge lush bouquet. It is not surprising if such beauty by the end of the solemn line somewhat loses its ceremonial appearance - it is simply difficult and inconvenient for a child to hold tall heavy flowers. So, even though bouquets of gladioli, for example, are very solemn and elegant, it may be better to refrain from them sometimes.

The second significant nuance is plant vitality, from which it is planned to create a festive bouquet. Agree, there is nothing more sad than the sight of flowers that have withered even before they were handed over to the addressee. If you are not sure that the selected plant is suitable for cutting, and there is no time left for experiments, it is better to refuse such an undertaking - in order to avoid disappointment and disappointment. Fortunately, most autumn flowers are distinguished by a rare love of life and endure all trials.

The third fact that we simply must take into account is flowers with a strong smell(for example, some varieties of lilies) are undesirable to use for a school bouquet. The minimum of possible troubles is a headache for the child and those who will be near him. In general, everyone reacts to smells differently, so it's best to refuse fragrant flowers right away.

The fourth circumstance that deserves attention is harmony of the created composition... You don't have to be a florist to create a beautiful bouquet - many growers intuitively find successful combinations and select suitable plants. It is more difficult with the "external design" - all kinds of bows and other accessories. Here, let's call on the sense of proportion and our own taste to help: the main thing in a school bouquet is flowers. Let's talk about them in more detail ...

What flowers to choose for a bouquet by September 1

Rules and traditions, fashions and tastes change. They were once popular among first graders, carnations - among high school students, asters - among everyone. Now the choice has become noticeably wider: and, zinnias and dahlias are no longer a rarity and not a curiosity in school bouquets.

It's good if you know what kind of flowers your child's teacher likes: receiving a carefully made bouquet of your favorite flowers as a gift is always more pleasant than a "duty" bunch of flowers, isn't it? But if there is no such "intelligence data", we will choose at our discretion.

Asters

A bouquet of is a traditional option, captivating with its availability and a colossal variety of possible options for creating a composition. If you love asters and grow them in the country, take a closer look at these simple but very attractive flowers.

The multi-colored bouquet looks elegant and juicy, and large monophonic asters, chrysanthemum or needle-like, create a classic elegant composition. By varying varieties, combining flowers of different size, shape and color, you can make a bouquet by September 1 for both a nimble first grader and a serious high school student. A fluffy sprig of asparagus (asparagus) is an ideal complement to the flower arrangement of asters.

Those who love unusual compositions can combine asters with other autumn colors. For example, how do you like such a bouquet - with decorative sunflowers?

To keep the asters in the water longer, cut flowers for a bouquet without signs of wilting or any damage. Remove all the lower leaves before placing them in the vase. If you cut just before leaving the cottage, wrap the ends of the stems in a damp cloth and wrap the flowers completely with paper to protect them from the sun and drafts.

Chrysanthemums

If you still want something more sophisticated for the holiday, choose. Large-flowered chrysanthemums are quite rare guests of our gardens: they are thermophilic, and do not winter in the ground in cold climates. But their small-flowered "sisters" are no less attractive and are ideal for a school bouquet.

On one shoot, such chrysanthemums, as a rule, have many inflorescences: cut off a branch - and already almost a whole bouquet. By the way, unlike many other flowers, chrysanthemums need cut completely open- their buds in water will no longer open.

These flowers are kept in cut for a very long time, but our help will not be superfluous to them. Before placing the chrysanthemums in water, remove the lower leaves and split the stem. It is also recommended to arrange a "contrast shower" for them - to pour over the tips of the stems first with hot and then cold water.

Consider: chrysanthemums love coolness(the optimum temperature for cut flowers is not higher than +20 degrees). They also respond well to spraying with ordinary cool water.

And also these flowers, like asters, are distinguished by a fantastic variety of colors and shapes and are perfectly combined both with each other and with other autumn flowers. For a school bouquet, you can choose both calm restrained shades and bright sunny colors, focusing, for example, on large bright gerberas, as in this bouquet:

Zinnias

They are very effective in bouquets, popular among gardeners and loved by many flowers. Now it's time for them to bloom, and if you have them in your garden, you can create an unusual and original festive composition using zinnias. For example, like this

These flowers are pretty good cut, but if they still wither, "resuscitation" is required. We update the slices by slightly shortening the stems; we wrap the upper part (with leaves and flowers) with thick paper or polyethylene, and lower the lower (2-3 cm) into hot water (temperature +80 ... + 90 degrees). The duration of "bathing" is 10-15 seconds. Then we put the bouquet in cold water for 10 minutes, and then return it to a vase with fresh water at room temperature.

Dahlias

Flowers of exceptional beauty are perfect for ceremonial bouquets. True, in the cut, their eyelids are short, and the heavy "caps" of large inflorescences often droop and can break. Florists recommend to burn a fresh cut of the stem with fire to prolong the life of dahlias so that the secreted juice does not interfere with the flow of water.

You can add half a tablet of aspirin to the vase where the flowers are to help them stay fresh longer.

Despite their expressiveness, self-sufficiency, they go well with other colors, without overshadowing their beauty. A bright autumn bouquet with dahlias is an excellent idea for September 1st.

Perennial asters, bright, sunny goldenrod, elegant limonium (statice) and other garden flowers can be used as companions.

Gladioli

For many of today's parents and grandparents, these flowers are a real symbol of September 1. Solemn and smart, they accompany more than one generation of schoolchildren to the first lesson. Often, summer residents who have children or grandchildren of school age are even specially grown exclusively for the sake of this holiday.

When choosing plants for a bouquet, give preference to those in which only a few lower buds have opened - peduncles with fully blossoming flowers in the cut fade very quickly.

Gladioli will last longer, if added to a vase (per 1 liter of water):

  • 1 aspirin tablet (crushed)
  • or 1 tablespoon of vinegar (not essence!),
  • or 0.4 g of citric acid,
  • or 1 teaspoon of table salt,
  • or 15-20 g of sugar (can be replaced with glucose),
  • or 2-3 drops of ammonia (camphor can be used).

It is not so easy for Gladioli to find a decent environment, although experienced florists create bouquets of wondrous beauty in which these flowers are harmoniously combined with other plants. Well, if there are no such skills, it is enough to supplement the gladioli with decorative greenery - for example, an expressive fern leaf or an asparagus branch - and that's it! They are beautiful without any decorations.

Roses

Bouquets from can be delicate, and strict, and touching, and pretentious - it all depends on the chosen color combinations and overall design. Take a look, for example, at this light and romantic composition with - do you think your child's teacher will like such a cute bouquet?

Traditionally, it was believed that girls and young women should be presented with roses of delicate shades, and red, burgundy flowers are suitable for women of mature age. But today, many are skeptical of such claims; moreover, some argue that it is impolite to present burgundy flowers to a mature woman, because this is a hint of age. So, what rules to adhere to in this matter - everyone decides for himself.

Although the rose is called the queen of flowers, it does not have to be the soloist in the bouquet. Floral arrangements, in which roses are just one of the elements, look modern, stylish and very effective. Although from the point of view of the longevity of the bouquet, such combinations do not stand up to criticism: cut roses do not like being close to other plants. Well, from the standpoint of aesthetics and harmony good companions for them there can be not only carnations or gerberas, but also chrysanthemums, lilies, dahlias and even "simple" limonium, goldenrod, ptarmica yarrow. Airy gypsophila, delicate asparagus or openwork fern leaves will be a worthy framing of the bouquet.

  • remove all thorns and leaves at the bottom of the stem (at least 1/3 of the length);
  • split the stems with a sharp knife;
  • add 10 drops of lemon juice to the vase, or 1 crushed aspirin tablet, or 1 teaspoon of vodka, or 2 tablespoons of vinegar + 3 teaspoons of sugar (diluted in 2 liters of water);
  • Place the roses in a bath of cool (not ice cold) water overnight.

Mixed bouquets

It is not at all necessary that certain plants predominate in the festive bouquet by September 1. Observing the basic rules of composition, you can combine a variety of flowers by adding decorative cereals, branches with bright berries or leaves, dried flowers.

Do not be afraid to experiment, because the main thing is that the bouquet should be made with love and given from the heart. Do not limit yourself only to those plants that are listed above - any flower from your garden may turn out to be exactly that "highlight" that will add completeness and originality to the bouquet.

Take a look, for example, at this mischievous composition - it seems to have mixed all the colors of an autumn flower bed. However, this "combination of incongruous" does not at all look like a chaotic heap of randomly picked flowers - harmoniously selected shades "gather" the bouquet together.

It is more difficult if you want to simultaneously include in the composition such expressive plants as lilies, roses, gerberas, large-flowered chrysanthemums, gladioli - each of these flowers in itself attracts attention, and in a bouquet they can begin to compete with each other. In this case, it is very important to correctly place accents and successfully choose the color scheme of the "accompanying elements" - they are the ones that create the desired background and general mood.

It is important to choose the right "accompaniment" and well-placed accents

Hardly many people have the opportunity to cut flowers on the morning of September 1 - most of us need to take care to keep them fresh until the holiday. Universal useful additives that extend the life of flowers:
  • table salt (1 teaspoon per liter of water);
  • boric acid (5-7 drops per liter of water);
  • charcoal (a few pieces thrown into a vase of flowers);
  • sugar (1-2 teaspoons per liter of water).
The best option for a school bouquet would be small round composition... Avoid voluminous, heavy, tall bouquets - they will interfere with the festive lineup for both your child and his neighbors.

Strict symmetry when drawing up a bouquet, it is not welcomed - it deprives the composition of naturalness and ease.
