Peony on a stem from foamiran. Do-it-yourself peony from foamiran. Manufacturing instruction

An unusually beautiful handmade flower can be called peony from foamiran, it will look very attractive on a rim or hairpin, decorating a hairdo, or you can make artificial flowers on a stem, put in a vase and decorate your home interior.

Foamiran peony - a master class for beginners

If you are just trying your hand at this type of needlework, we recommend that you pay attention to this "quick" peony from foamiran master class... You will not need to do detailed toning, scrupulously count the details, use molds and other professional devices. As a result, you will end up with a not very realistic, but very beautiful and lush peony.

Use large scissors to cut the amount required for work from a roll of Iranian foam 0.5-1 mm thick. You should get three stripes 4-6 mm wide - two pink and white.

When you get enough skill, you can cut parts without cardboard templates. But at the initial level, you should practice a little in drawing petals. All of them should have approximately the same height, but the thickness will be different. The thinner ones will be in the core, and the wider ones will need to be glued along the edges. In total, about 70 shape blanks will be required for work.
You can cut parts without using templates and patterns. If you are trained enough in drawing, you can even cut out such a shape with your eyes closed. Fold a piece of pink fom about 2 cm and start cutting - along the upper edge of the cut out part should have arbitrary waves. However, when you finish cutting, you will find that you have got 2 pieces. Wrap the edge of the material again and turn it over so that the previous cut goes up diagonally (this is used to save material). Those. this cut will now cut the right edge of the petal. One strip of Foma should be enough for you to cut 30 blanks 1.5-2.5 cm wide. Use the second strip to make wider ones - 2.5-3.5 cm, and do not use any template for cutting a wavy edge. White fom will be used for cutting the widest, extreme, blanks with a width of 3.5-5 cm.

The workpieces should take shape, and their edges should become sleeker and thinner, which is why you cannot do without processing with the iron on. In this case, it is very important not to overheat, because then the petal can curl up, become unnecessarily hard and decrease in size. Fold the preheated workpiece with an accordion, roll it with your fingers to stretch and make the material thinner. Then unfold and straighten the edges, stretch slightly in the middle, arching like a boat. Narrow ones can be processed quite simply, but with wide ones you will have to work hard - do everything very carefully, do not stretch with very great force, because there is a very high risk that the fom will break. Lay out the curved blanks in order - the narrowest should go first, the widest should be completed.

The base for the flower can be foil or foam, but perhaps the most convenient and hassle-free option would be a wooden bead, a piece of floral wire should be threaded into it, and then lubricated with superglue. Glue the first narrow petal, then a few more around the circle. Continue gluing subsequent rows. When the pion becomes large enough, it will be convenient to turn it upside down and stick it in this position. Glue five white blanks in a circle, pay attention to the fact that they should go with some distance. These gaps will need to be closed with the next row. So the wonderful is ready, now you will probably be interested to know how you can transform it into a hairpin.

Cut the floral wire with powerful scissors or bite off with side cutters. The gaps in the middle should be filled with hot glue, while leaving a pile of glue in the middle. Press down on the metal barrette.

If you want stamens to be glued into the middle, this will make the craft look more realistic. You can make them yourself, or you can purchase ready-made ones. Spread the petals apart, place a small amount of hot glue in the center of the bead, fix the stamens, then press the middle petals together.

To make the flower even more attractive, you can crumble dry pastel, dip a damp cloth in it and walk along the edges of the petals with swiping movements. Use a clean, damp cloth to blend paint.

As you can see, a beginner can easily cope with such a task, however, it will not be superfluous to watch a peony from foamiran master class video, in which the master will demonstrate exactly how to twist the blanks and give them the shape of a boat.

Foamiran peony - photo master class

According to the proposed foamiran peony patterns cut out the necessary parts.

You will need to prepare 10 pieces according to patterns No. 1,2,3, 8 pieces - according to pattern No. 4, 17 pieces - according to pattern No. 5, 7 pieces - according to pattern No. 6. All blanks are toned. For tinting, you can use dry or oil pastels, even oil and acrylic paints are suitable. First, give the desired color, and then cut everything out.

Heat the iron rather weakly and attach every detail to it, twist, and then straighten and shape in the shape of an arc.

Take a piece of floral wire and fold the edge with round-nose pliers - this will help the flower to hold and not fly off during use. First glue the first petal with a second glue, opposite it - the second. The following glue is slightly overlapped in a clockwise direction. When peony bud from foamiran is ready, then you will need to continue gluing larger petals

Similarly, you can do and.

Foamiran peony - MK

And here is a master class on making a not quite typical yellow peony. If you do not find templates on the Internet, then you can "disassemble" a real plant, attach petals of each type to the paper and circle. Prepare the resulting cardboard templates and use them throughout the year.

Cut 14 pieces of the smallest, all the rest will need 8 pieces. Cut out the leaves from the green Iranian foam. Tint the yellow petal blanks on both sides using acrylic paint.

Heat each petal by holding it with tweezers near a preheated iron. Twist and stretch wide. Heat a green leaf, then apply and press it onto the mold.

To make the core, you need a 3 x 20 cm foamiran strip. Fold it in half and glue it together. Then, as shown in the photo, cut and, greased with a second glue, roll up.

So, start assembling. Glue the miniature petals in a checkerboard pattern or in a circle. Then the next two rows will go in size. You will have two sizes of petals - they should be glued in pairs, then glue to the flower, trying to observe the principle of uniformity. Don't forget the green leaves.

You will be able to find out what other flowers can be made using such wonderful material as Iranian foam.

Foamiran peony master class step by step

This master class will teach you how to make a flower brooch clip - everything is very simple and quick. For work, use A4 foamiran sheet, painted in the desired color, for example, pink.

Because peony has petals of different sizes and shapes, you should first draw patterns of several types. You can use the suggested photo.

Lay out the cut templates on A4 sheet and draw a toothpick around the contour, then cut out. The largest variety will need 20 pieces, all the rest will be enough and 10. If you want to get a more magnificent craft, then this number can be increased.

Set the iron to the "two" or "wool" mode (depending on your model), then apply each piece to the surface in turn. Be sure to add realism to each one - for this, twist the heated part along the length to make a kind of roll, then stretch this roll a little in length, and then straighten it. We draw your attention to the fact that at this stage overheating is very dangerous, because the vom can shrink, when stretching with your fingers it is important not to overdo it, because you can break the petal. In general, do not be afraid to experiment.

The assembly of the flower will be carried out using the most ordinary toothpick (if you wish, you can also use a floral wire). Use superglue to glue the first narrowest workpiece onto it (you can use both the "Moment" and the thermal gun - which you have in stock). Glue the petals in a circle, lightly overlapping each other. When the entire amount is exhausted, it is necessary to cut off a toothpick and glue the result of efforts on a universal base for a hairpin-brooch.

Finally, it should be noted that the finished result for all master classes will differ when using material of different origin. So, you can choose the vom of Iranian or Chinese production. There are more bubbles on the surface of Iranian, which makes it very pleasant and velvety. It should be noted that the form of Iranian production will be more varied in thickness - somewhere in the roll it will be thinner, somewhere denser. Chinese will be thinner and more uniform. But at the same time, do not worry - in the process of heating and molding, the Iranian petal can become unusually thin, because the bubbles partially disappear due to such processing, which allows you to get an unusually realistic craft. It should be noted that the Chinese still shines a little - this can sometimes be attributed to disadvantages if you are trying to make interior peonies that are indistinguishable from real ones. And if your goal is a hairpin and a headband, then the glitter will definitely not be superfluous. The advantages of the Chinese material include good "memorization" of the shape - this is an irreplaceable quality in the manufacture of leaves.

So, you just have to choose the material and the master class you like the most, and you can start exquisite needlework.

Foamiran can be used to make various volumetric decorative elements, to decorate clothes (brooch, buttons, headbands, hairpins), create decorative flowers (hydrangea, peony, chrysanthemum) and dolls, decorate wedding dresses, and use as upholstery material. Still, foamiran is more suitable for creating artificial flowers, since the variety of colors and the palette of colors of this material allows you to accurately reflect what the master intended.

Making a peony according to step-by-step instructions will not cause difficulties for novice craftsmen, if you strictly follow the scheme. Peony's characteristic flowers are shades of red, white and pink, as well as their combination. For example, the peony is a tree-like variety that has vibrant reds and pinks.

To make a peony from foamiran, we need the following materials and tools:

  • Foamiran (color depends on the type of peony);
  • Wire with a thickness of 1.5 to 2 mm;
  • Bead with a diameter of 2 mm;
  • Scissors;
  • Acrylic paint;
  • Simple pencil;
  • Paint brush;
  • Decorative tape;
  • Super glue;
  • Iron.

To get the stamens in the center of the flower, you need to make a stencil in the form of a sun with rays, which is put on the stem before gluing the petals, and with the help of yellow paint you can imitate pollen.

Instructions for making a peony from foamiran:

  1. Making a peony begins with cutting a stencil and a template for future patterns using ordinary cardboard. To do this, draw a sketch of the petals on a sheet of cardboard with a pencil (fantasize and try different versions of peony leaves) and cut out the resulting patterns.
  2. We apply stencils to the foamiran sheet, circle the blanks and cut out the petals.
  3. We heat the petals with an iron. To do this, we apply the pattern to a heated iron, and then, holding the ends with an accordion and roll the stencil to give structure.
  4. We will make the stem and center of the flower using a bead and thick wire. Apply super glue to the bead and glue it with wire.
  5. We glue the petals, ranging from small to large leaves. The last row of petals is glued to the stem.
  6. We tint the leaves and give the leaves a more voluminous look.
  7. We make leaves for the trunk from green foamiran.

We make a peony from foamiran: do-it-yourself templates

Templates for peony patterns can be made from cardboard, and also later used as a stencil for future patterns, which will save time for their production. There are no flowers in which two petals will be the same, so you should not limit yourself to monotonous versions of petals, but make, for example, 8-10 types of leaves.

Now on the Internet you can find many variations of templates and stencils for any plants and flowers that can be printed and used in the future.

Why do I need a peony pattern from foamiran and how to make it

To get beautiful and realistic flowers, you need to make patterns for the inner and outer petals. Therefore, in advance, you need to make thin and wide petals for the inner and outer leaves, respectively. Thin patterns - should be in the core of the future flower, and wide to the stem.

To get volume, you need to cut out a large number of petals (about 60 pieces, in a ratio of 30 internal and 30 external).

Instructions for making petal patterns:

  1. On a sheet of cardboard with a simple pencil, draw sketches of options for the blades of a flower;
  2. Cut the petal patterns exactly along the contour;
  3. Apply the resulting templates to the foamiran sheet and cut the resulting shapes.

You can make patterns for flowers without a cardboard stencil, but for this you need to know the approximate shape of the petals, which will save time for making crafts.

Wonderful peony rose from foamiran: master class

Such roses are characterized by tenderness, softness of flowers and volume of buds. Types of peony roses: with an open or closed center, monotonous, with iridescent shades. For this master class, a monotonous look is used, which even a beginner can handle the study.

To make a peony rose from foamiran, you will need:

  • Foamian sheets of pink color 0.5 mm thick;
  • Brown or red acrylic paint for leather;
  • Sheets of cardboard for making petal templates;
  • Thick wire for the stem and bead for the core;
  • Super glue or PVA;
  • Pencil and scissors;
  • Hair dryer or iron.

To make the flowers soft and voluminous, choose foamiran with a thickness of 0.5 mm.

The number of petals in a peony rose is less than for a regular rose, but due to the size of the leaves, we will get a large rose, and by working with acrylic paints, we will add volume. In total there will be 5 standard sizes of petals: 1 - 10 pcs .; 2 - 10 pcs.; 3 - 15 pcs.; 4 - 9 pcs., 5 - 6 pcs. (for the leaves of the stem) each of which is painted in a different color (usually shades of pink or red), starting from the dark middle, ending with a light cut of the flower.

Manufacturing instruction:

  1. If there are no ready-made templates, then we make 5 standard sizes of future petals. To do this, on a sheet of cardboard, you need to draw options for patterns and cut them clearly along the contour;
  2. To give a real look, type 1 and 2 paint the upper part of the petal with pink, and the lower one with yellow;
  3. A rose has stamens, which are better made from pieces of soft wire, and the stamens themselves are made of cotton wool wound on a wire. After that, you can safely paint them yellow. The resulting base for the petals is firmly glued or wound on a stem of the same color.
  4. With the help of an iron, shape the petals. To do this, we apply the petal to the heated iron and, squeezing the upper part, fix the position by twisting the flagella a little, and if this is not enough, hold it longer.

For more volume, you can heat the lower part of the petal with a hairdryer or a match.

Further actions:

  1. We begin to glue the first type of petals onto the base with super glue, while slightly shifting them relative to each other, which will give more volume. It is necessary to combine sizes 1 and 2 during the gluing process, otherwise the rose will not be lush.
  2. Similarly, we glue 3 types of larger petals, with a smaller twist at the base of the petal.
  3. We make the last row on the bud less twisted to add splendor.

In general, it is better to create the last row separately from the whole flower, so that at the end of the work you can simply insert and glue it from below.

Additional tips:

  1. To prevent the petals from falling, then after gluing 2-3 types, make a holding substrate in the form of a wound thread with dense cotton wool.
  2. We paint the stem green and glue the 5 type of petals to it, which will create the branches of the rose, they are also green.

How to make a peony from foamiran at home

To make a more voluminous flower or bouquet, we need to cut out as many types of petal patterns as possible, and it is also important to be able to work with paints. Even a novice inventor can handle this master class.

To make a peony from foamiran, it is enough to have the following materials, which can be bought at a handicraft store:

  • For the petals, we use foamiran with a thickness of 2 mm, in our case we choose the pink color of the leaf;
  • We will make the stems from thick wire;
  • The core can be made from a wooden bead or a ball rolled from foil;
  • We will cut with scissors;
  • We use acrylic to add volume;
  • We will draw the patterns with a 2M soft pencil;
  • Super glue or PVA;
  • Iron or hair dryer.

Step-by-step instructions for making a peony with your own hands:

  1. Take a couple of sheets of cardboard and make rough sketches of the petals, and then put them on the sheets of foamiran and cut them out. Let's make 6 types of peony blades. Our peony will consist of: 11 petals of the first row, 10 petals of the second, 16 petals of the third and 7 petals of the fourth row.
  2. Paint the petals with red or brown acrylic to add volume. In the process of dyeing, it is important to know that the petals farther from the center of the flower are dyed in a darker color.
  3. With a heated iron, add volume to the petal. After heating, we twist the petal in our fingers, straighten it and get a cup-shaped petal.
  4. We glue the bead as a core (wrap the bead with a piece of foamiran and fasten with threads).
  5. We paint the stem and leaves green in advance and begin to glue row by row of petals clockwise.
  6. To make the peony look more original, you can apply decorative sequins with a spray.

Such a peony can be used to decorate clothes or a hairpin and even use it in the decor of a room.

A way to make peonies from foamiran with your own hands

To make a peony, you do not need to have any complex knowledge, it is enough to have the necessary materials, tools and follow the step-by-step instructions. For this we need: a piece of foamiran 50 * 50 cm yellow and pink, wire 30 cm long, super glue, scissors, iron and gouache.

Method for making peony from foamiran:

  1. To make a peony, we need templates that we will print from the Internet and cut out on cardboard. The peony bud will have 49 petals and 5 leaves on the stem (5 sizes).
  2. We circle the templates on the foamiran and cut out the finished petals.
  3. Heat them up on an iron and twist them for a natural look.
  4. We make a ball of foil, insert a wire into it and glue it.
  5. Apply a little glue to the ball and alternately apply the petals from 1 to the last row. To prevent the leaves from falling, you can wrap it with thread of the same color after each row.
  6. We tint the petals with gouache and add visual volume.

Foamiran peony turned out to be 15 cm in size. Such a craft will be a gift or can decorate the interior in the room.

Full bouquets of peonies from foamiran and wire

If you want to make an original gift for a girl or a woman, but you don’t want to give natural flowers, then a bouquet of peonies from foamiran is what you need.

Making a bouquet is not difficult, you need to stock up on material, tools and patience.

To make a bouquet of peonies, we need:

  • Pre-made peony buds with stem and leaves;
  • Green wire or decorative ribbon for combining flowers into one bouquet;
  • Spray gun and gold glitter;
  • Transparent whip for a bouquet.

We will make a bouquet of 5 peonies. We collect so that the flowers do not touch each other and look in different directions. We connect the stems with a ribbon, placing them around the circumference. Spray the gilding over the flowers. We wrap with transparent film. Our gift is ready.

If desired, you can combine peonies with other flowers, such as hydrangea or chrysanthemum.

How to shape a peony bud

  2. Cut petals of various shapes and sizes according to the template;
  3. We tint the edges of the petals with red pastel;
  4. To create a convex shape, we use large round stones;
  5. We glue the wire of the required size to the core;
  6. We collect the bud, sequentially gluing the petals to the core.

To hide the wire, just wrap it in green cloth.

Any girl and woman will like this craft if you do it with your heart.

Is it possible to make a peony from marshmallow foamiran

Making a peony from marshmallow foamiran is a little more painstaking. Marshmallow foamiran must be thinned before use. To do this, put it between two sheets of paper and heat it with an iron, draw a ruler along the surface of the sheet.

Progress:

  1. We cut 3 standard sizes of foamiran petals according to the template (height * width 5 * 4 cm - 30 pcs; 5 * 6 cm - 20 pcs; 6 * 8 cm - 10 pcs.).
  2. We twist each petal and give it an arched shape. For large petals, use a ball by pulling the foamiran over it.
  3. We make the core with a ball of foil painted to match the color of the material and glue the wire stem to it.
  4. Starting from small to large petals, glue the petals onto the ball.
  5. A beautiful bouquet can be made from a combination of such flowers.

Dexterous peony from foamiran: master class (video)

Such a craft will be an excellent gift for your loved one or original elements of clothing or interior decor. It is not so difficult to create it, but the decoration turns out to be very good.

Good afternoon, dear readers of our site, today we will consider another interesting master class on making a flower. By the way, it seemed to me that everyone already knows what foamiran is, but it turns out not, people ask and ask questions. In this topic, I will not write much about Thomas, I will create a special topic where we will talk about this with you and you can ask your questions. Foamiran has several names: foamiran, fom, plastic suede, foam eva, revelure, foamed rubber. To the touch, it is a very pleasant porous material, the sheet can be from 0.5 mm. - up to 2 mm. thick. Foamiran lends itself very well to stretching and thanks to this, beautiful and interesting work can be done from it. You can make flowers, toys from it, decorate the interior and your things, and much, much more.
Therefore, if you learn to work with foamiran, then you can always decorate your clothes and interior. And over time, learn to create your own works of authorship, which you can then donate to your family and friends. For beginners on the site, a section on foamiran has been created, it is called FOAMIRAN. There you can find many interesting, accessible and understandable lessons (master classes) on creating different colors from foamiran. And now we will return to the topic and consider the author's master class on making a peony flower from foamiran, the author of this master class is Ekaterina Padalko.

To make a terry peony you will need:
* Foamiran of the desired color.
* Scissors.
* Pastel.
* Iron.
* Foil.
* Thread.

Peony making method:
First, we will make a pattern for making petals. Ekaterina created her own pattern for making a peony and shared it with us. The photo shows us well the size and shape of our petals. Sizes can be different, everything depends on what size you want to make the flower. Catherine created a small leaf for making a substrate 6 cm long and 2 cm wide, and a large template for making a peony is about 14 cm in diameter, and each petal is 6.5 cm long.We also need leaves, the sizes are signed in the photo.

Now we need foamiran in two colors, pink for making a flower and dark green for making leaves.

Cut off three strips from the pink foamiran using scissors with a wavy edge (if there are no such scissors, you can use ordinary scissors to make a wavy edge yourself). The first strip is 3.5 cm wide and 60 cm long. The second strip is 4 cm wide and 60 cm long and the third strip is 4.8 cm wide and 60 cm long.

For the manufacture of these strips, such scissors with a wavy edge are suitable.

Take a strip 3.5 cm wide. Draw a line with a pencil and then cut off the edge along it.

This is the edge of the strip.

With ordinary scissors, we make cuts on the strip (cutting out the corners), with a width of 5 to 10 mm. We do not try to make them the same, because flowers do not have exactly the same petals.

We make the same cuts on the other two strips.

Now we need a template for making the lower petals. We apply patterns to the foamiran and cut out the required number of petals (the template is drawn simply by hand).

We outline the template on the pink foamiran twice.

These are the blanks for making a peony, we should get it.

We take the green foamiran and circle it, cut out the blanks of the leaves.

Let's start toning. Using a wet wipe and dry pastels, we will tint our petals.

Catherine used dark brown pastels for toning the petals. You can choose any other color that you think suits you.

We start to tint the stripes on both sides, but only the edges.

We tint the edges of the other two blanks with the same pastel color, also from the spirit of the sides.

After tinting, these are the blanks for making a peony.

That's it, we tinted the petals and leaves. These are the pieces that become after tinting.

Now we start processing the inner petals. We heat the iron, put it on two points, then apply the petal strips to the iron for a few seconds.

These are the twisted petals we get. We twist with all the strips.

These are the blank strips for the peony.

We take the following blanks and start processing the lower petals. Heat each petal of the five-leafed leaf separately.

Fold the petal into an accordion while it is warm and twist it.

Then we open the twisted petals and straighten them with our fingers.

These are the five-leafed leaves we should get.

We heat the leaf on the iron.

We twist it.

We get five twisted leaves for making a substrate.

We twist the edges of the leaves with our fingers, give them the shape that we need.

These are the workpieces that become after processing on the iron and with the help of our fingers.

Take a foil and roll a ball out of it, about 1.5 cm in diameter.

We heat a small piece of pink foamiran on an iron, so it will stretch more easily on a foil ball.

We stretch a piece of warm foamiran onto a ball.

We wrap it with thread like a balloon and tie it.

Cut off the unnecessary tail. Do not try to remove folds when tying, they will not interfere with us.

We start assembling the peony: take the first narrowest strip 3.5 cm wide and glue it around the circumference of the ball.

This is what the bottom of the flower looks like when gluing the first tape.

Lubricate the top of the ball with glue and press the nearest petals to it.

We continue to glue the strip in a circle.

The second turn and all subsequent ones are glued a little lower.

This is what the bottom looks like after gluing the first strip.

And this is what the middle of the flower looks like.

This is how the flower will become after gluing the second strip.

We begin to glue the third strip with a width of 4.8 cm. Glue it below the second strip.

This is what the bottom looks like after gluing the third row.

So the middle of the flower is ready.

Apply glue to the center of the quintuple leaf.

Large petals need to be glued a little.

To do this, apply a little glue to almost the base of each five-leaf petal and glue them to the middle.

This is how the flower becomes from below.

And this is how our peony flower becomes.

The terry peony is almost ready.

Glue the backing leaves at the bottom of the flower.

And then glue the leaves.

Here is our peony and ready. You can put it on any base, the flat sole will make it easy. Let's fluff it up a bit and admire our work.

Flowers made from foamiran, loved by many fashionistas. And this is no accident, because they are pleasant to the touch, they are not afraid of either water or heat. You can decorate with such flowers not only your beloved, but also any piece of furniture, for example, casket with foamiran flowers on the lid. The main thing is to create this miracle! Today we will make the most fashionable flower in recent years - a magical pion! The peony will not be simple, but complete, with many petals glued together, besides, in addition to a wonderful flower, we will make a bud, but this will be in the next master class.

We will need :

  • white foamiran or lilac;
  • green foamiran;
  • oil pastels;
  • foam sponge;
  • water;
  • glue gun;
  • iron;
  • toothpick;
  • scissors;
  • acrylic varnish.

How to make a peony from foamiran

Let's make peony pattern... Cut out 4 squares of different sizes from cardboard.

Square 4.7x4.5 cm (the second dimension is the width). Cut out a petal from it as shown in the photo. This is part A.

Square 5x5.3 cm. Detail B. We make a wavy edge for the petal.

Square 5x5.5 cm. Detail B. We make one notch to the wavy edges.

Square 6x6.5 cm. Detail D. Look at the photo and cut it out the same way.

We arbitrarily cut out the substrate, the size in diameter is 12 cm.

We cut out all the parts from white foamiran in the following quantity: A - 12 pcs., B - 8 pcs., C - 6 pcs., D - 18 pcs. If you do not want to manually paint the petals, you can immediately carve them out of lilac foamiran.

Color in all the details on both sides with purple pastels.

We moisten a piece of sponge and rub the paint, the movement is performed strictly in the same direction. In the photo you can see the difference: on the right is the petal after processing.

Under the influence of heat treatment, we begin to shape all the petals. We heat the petals-parts A, roll them up with an accordion and scroll with our fingers. The rest of the petals-parts are heated by the tips, twisted and kneaded with your fingers. We heat it up again, but stretch the middle part of the petal in the center, giving it a bulge. The tips of some of the petals can be twisted back.

We wind and glue a thin strip of foamiran onto a toothpick, paint the top with yellow.

For parts A, glue the base.

We glue them in a circle.

It is possible that more than one circle of petals will turn out.

We glue the petals-detail B to the resulting middle, distribute the petals into two rows, that is, 4 pieces in each row.

We glue 6 petals-parts B in one row.

Now we distribute the 18 petals-details D into three rows. You can glue 6 petals in each row, or you can make 6 in two, and 5 in the third.

If you want the peony to be less complete, then the third row of petals-details D can be omitted. In the photo you can see the difference - in one row of petals.

We cut out a substrate - leaves. We tint them with pastels - we draw veins close to the leaf of a real peony.

We heat a leaf on an iron, carry it (with a little pressure on the foamiran) with a toothpick along the drawn veins. We heat the edges of the leaf, stretch and slightly spiral this part of the leaf. We glue the substrate to the peony.

The splendor of the peony depends on the number of petals (rows).

Foamiran peony (plastic suede) is fully assembled.

Especially for the site Needlework Lessons Anna Dranovskaya - Swallow.

A peony made of plastic foamiran is a rather lush, beautiful bud that even a novice master can make.

To conduct an MC, we need the following types of materials:

  1. Porous foamiran. To make the craft as realistic as possible, purchase material no more than 1 mm thick. We need a dark green, dark pink and light pink canvas.
  2. Fixing tape, which can be light green or green.
  3. Water based acrylic paints. To make the artificial flower interesting and as realistic as possible, get a dark pink, marsh and yellow shade of paint.
  4. Bulky thick wire, which will bend well, with a diameter of 1-1.5 mm. It will be needed to form the stem. For the leaves, you need a small piece of floristic or thin wire.
  5. A set of art brushes, as well as foam rubber, from which you need to make a small sponge (or sponge).
  6. Manicure scissors and standard glue gun. You can use any manicure tool that will cut the foamiran with ease.
  7. A beautiful mother-of-pearl stone, a voluminous bead or a piece of foil, from which the core of the bud will be formed.

We also need a pattern that can be printed or drawn by hand. With its help, we will form the petals and components of our bud. When everything you need is on the table, you can start creating a peony step by step.

  1. We cut the component parts of the flower according to our pattern.
    - A - 10 light pink petals;
    - B - 10 petals of a light pink shade and 5 blanks of a dark pink color;
    - C - 10 parts of a light pink shade;
    - D - 5 dark pink petals;
    - E - 5 dark pink parts;
    - З - 3 leaves of a dark green shade;
    - M - 6 sheets of dark green color;
    - K and L - 5 dark green sepals;
    - F - a blank in the form of a sun with rays, from which we will form an interesting core with imitation of stamens.

    Cut out the pattern from the existing image, transfer it to the light pink foamiran and cut out the circle. After that, we cut the rays with sharp ends.

  2. We tint the leaves and petals

    With the help of acrylic paint, we make a slight toning of the petals of our peony, trying to get the effect of an inhomogeneous color (either darker towards the edge of the petal, then darker closer to the base). To do this, we need a small brush, with which we paint over all the petals. on both sides.

    The second stage is the creation of "reviving" leaves. For this, we also use the manual tinting technique. With a darker green paint we paint over our leaves from foamiran only on one side, and then draw central veins in the center of the trefoil, distributing the paint from the center to the edges of the workpiece.

  3. Shirring leaves and petals

    The initial stage will be the corrugation of the petals B. We fold the workpiece in small folds according to the "accordion" principle.

  4. Assembling a flower

    We are preparing the base on which many peony petals will be fixed. To do this, we form a dense ball from the foil, the diameter of which should not exceed 1.5 cm. If you decide to use a bead, then make sure that it has a wide enough hole. In a ball of foil we pierce a hole into which we pour glue and immediately pass the prepared wire into the hole.

    We string the workpiece G onto the wire and tie all the upper parts with a thread, placing them above the bead.

    We dip the tips of the stamens into yellow acrylic paint, and then attach 10 petals A to them, using a gun with glue for this.

    We fix the petals B, folded like an accordion at the base, so that we get small folds. In this way, we fix 10 light pink and 5 dark pink petals.

    Next, we glue 5 petals C, and behind them - in a checkerboard pattern, another 5 of the same blanks.

    The pre-final stage will be gluing five petals D in a checkerboard pattern with respect to the previous ones.

    And the creation of the final row of the 5 largest petals E.

    We fix the sepals and begin to collect the leaves as shown in the photo.

    We decorate the hairpin with a lush poppy

    Red foamiran poppy is a great way to decorate any hair accessory or to diversify a flower bouquet made of wild plants.

    To create it, we need:

    • dense foamiran of black, green and red shades;
    • acrylic paint (red and white);
    • bright pastel and tinting sponge;
    • simple threads, a piece of foil, an iron and curly scissors;
    • automatic hair clip without jewelry;
    • glue, a manicure stick or wooden toothpick, and phlox powder.

    When all the materials are ready, you can start the master class. To do this, follow the instructions below.

    We draw by hand paper templates in the amount of 8-16 pieces. We need 4 small blanks - 5.5 * 4.5 cm, as well as 4 large ones - 7.5 * 5.5 cm.

    Cut out a strip of black foamiran and process one side to create a fringe.

    We make the base from a ball of foil, the diameter of the workpiece is approximately 1.7-2 cm.

    We tint our petals on one side using a sponge.

    Smooth sharp corners with curly scissors.

    Lightly touching our petal with a sponge, apply white paint from one side to the lower part of the petal.

    Cut out a circle from the green foamiran, put a foil ball in the middle and begin to form a poppy head. We tie the ball with thread as shown in the photo.

    Cut off the excess thread. Turn the tips over (turn out) and glue. You can slightly tint the core, first with red and then with white paint.

    We start assembling the flower by gluing the fringe.

    We form poppy petals by heating the material on an iron in the "silk-wool" mode. We fold the warm blanks with an accordion, twist and pull out the middle a little. We do this with all the petals.

    We paint the fringe a little white. We begin to glue the petals overlapping, forming rows. First, 4 petals in one row.

    Then we glue large petals below the first row by about 1-2 mm, also slightly overlapping.

    Cut out the leaves and apply texture to them, toning with paint and shading it with a sponge on both sides.

    We glue the leaves, sprinkling them with phlox powder.

    The flower is ready. Now we just need to glue it to the automatic hair clip, using a hole punch or glue for this. You can do your hair!
