Is it possible to do cryotherapy in the summer. What is cryomassage for the face, can it be done at home. Reviews with photos before and after are attached. Side effects and complications

Nowadays there are many simple but very effective facial treatments that can be done both at home and in the beauty parlor. This is exactly what cryomassage of the face is, which allows you to restore skin tone in a short time, slow down aging, and also provide it with proper hydration and accelerate metabolic processes.

  • Applicable for: all skin types.
  • Age of application: from 18 years old.
  • Price: from 1000 rubles.

Features of the procedure

Cryomassage is a type of cosmetic massage that can be performed both in salon conditions (using liquid nitrogen) and at home (in this case, ice is used for massage). Cryomassage for the face has a very wide range of applications. It is prescribed for the treatment or prevention of such problems:

Also, it is liquid nitrogen for the face in cosmetology that can be used simultaneously with injection therapy. In some cases, it is also used for patients who complain about a decrease in the comfort of various cosmetic procedures.

Contraindications to this procedure should be considered the presence of papillomas and melanomas on the face, an acute form, the presence of pustules on the face. Also, do not carry out this procedure for those who have chronic or acute respiratory diseases, allergies to cold or neurological disorders. Pregnancy is not a direct contraindication to this procedure. If the expectant mother has a normal hormonal background and general well-being, she can be given such a massage.

How is cryomassage performed?

Cryomassage of the face with liquid nitrogen can be carried out only in a cosmetology clinic or salon. As part of such a procedure, the doctor conducts a full examination of the patient, then determines how to massage in his case, prepares the skin for the procedure and treats the face with a special apparatus along the massage lines. This procedure usually takes up to 15 minutes, after which the specialist evaluates the results of his work and applies soothing substances to the skin.

At home, wiping the face with cosmetic ice is considered an analogue of such a procedure. Such ice can be made from ordinary drinking water or from a decoction of herbs (which enhances its medicinal qualities). The procedure with ice is also quite simple: the woman first washes her face and then wipes her face with an ice cube, moving along the massage lines. At the end of such a procedure, she just needs to rinse her face with water, wipe it and apply a protective cream.

Expert opinion

Cryomassage of the facial skin is usually highly rated by cosmetologists as a highly effective, affordable and safe procedure at the same time. Many experts who have appreciated its benefits, offer this technique to their patients to solve various dermatological problems, including the fight against the first signs of aging, rashes, even rosacea. Experts say that the effectiveness of this method in all the cases presented has been confirmed clinically.

Experts, however, note that many patients who come to such manipulation have high expectations for it. So some patients believe that it will allow them to eliminate various skin defects from the very first session, but in practice it turns out that this is not entirely true. Doctors-cosmetologists note that this procedure is indeed effective in many cases, but only those who have undergone such treatment in courses will be able to assess its positive effect on the skin, immediately contacting high-level specialists.

Consumer opinion

Victoria

I repeat this massage every year during the winter season. The face after him is wonderful, smooth, clean. The only thing that peels off at first after the sessions. But I can easily deal with this problem with a good nourishing cream.

Natalia

I often do this wonderful procedure. It suits me very well.

Volume

I use this procedure to combat acne. For me, it is the least discomfort, it always goes away quite easily and without side effects. I definitely support good reviews for it. Before and after photos:

Cold has long been used in a complex of procedures popular in dermatology and cosmetology.

Cryomassage of the face, head and body is carried out by the method of short-term exposure to the skin with ice cubes or liquid nitrogen. Rejuvenation by this method is a popular procedure that is carried out in beauty salons.

This technique was invented and first applied in Greece. Since antiquity, civilized Greeks have paid tribute to beauty and perfection by inventing various methods of rejuvenation through cryotherapy.

The main task of cryomassageimprove blood circulation in the skin.

Under the influence of cold, the vessels narrow for a short time, and then, expanding, return to their original state. As a result, the blood circulates in them more actively, the metabolic rate increases, and the nervous excitability of cells decreases.

As a result, the skin receives a large dose of oxygen and trace elements. The effect is visible in the radiance and freshness of the face.

Mild and short-term exposure to cold contributes to:

  • exfoliation of dead cells of the upper layer of the skin;
  • normalization of her nutrition;
  • renewal of the epidermis;
  • restoration of hair on the head.

The purpose of cryotherapy

Cryomassage is mainly used for cosmetic purposes: this procedure has a beneficial effect on the appearance of the facial skin and is recommended when the first signs of aging appear.

It is also used for preventive purposes. Changes are visible after several visits to the beauty parlor. The condition of the skin improves after each visit: a blush appears, the complexion becomes even and natural.

Applied methods

There are two known methods of cryotherapy.

Problem areas can be influenced by:

  • ice cubes;
  • liquid nitrogen - it is a clear liquid without a specific color and odor, containing no toxins.

Nitrogen massage

The substance is endowed with unique properties.

Exposure to liquid nitrogen leads to vasospasm, after which they expand and increase in volume. This state persists for three hours. All this time, the tissues are saturated with oxygen, their blood supply is accelerated, and the outflow of venous blood is normalized.

Unlike using ice, this procedure is more complicated and requires special conditions and qualifications. Massage with nitrogen is done in beauty salons and medical institutions.

Carrying out the procedure

Cryomassage of the facial skin using liquid nitrogen is performed with an applicator, which is a wooden spatula or a stick with a cotton wool turunda at the end. Moistened with this substance, it should be larger in size than the area of the intended freeze.

Preparing for the procedure

Before the session, it is necessary to undergo an examination and determine if there are any contraindications to certain procedures.

When detecting any health problems (for example, allergies), various methods of massaging certain areas of the skin are used.

The massage technique is classified by type:

  1. Regular. This treatment assumes no contact between the skin and the instrument. The beautician guides them along the massage lines and treats specific areas with a point.
  2. Deep. It consists in freezing, which leads to the death of cells (papillomas and other formations are destroyed). Correct execution of the procedure involves a slight pressure with a spatula on the desired point for 30 seconds.

Cryomassage with nitrogen also affects the capillaries.

The deep massage is unique for its whitening, exfoliating and rejuvenating effect. The result can be seen even in the photo.

The procedure lasts from 10 to 30 minutes. To achieve a noticeable result, you need at least 15 sessions. Their number and duration is prescribed by the cosmetologist, depending on the condition and type of skin.

When carrying out manipulations, the specialist avoids touching sensitive areas of the face: eyelids, under the eyes, lips. The applicator helps to act pointwise. It is not recommended to go outside for 20 minutes after the session.

Cryomassage using ice cubes

This is a fairly simple way to improve skin condition and can be used at home. The procedure is very effective - after it the puffiness under the eyes, swelling disappear, the face looks younger.

For this type of massage, you need to add herbs suitable for a specific skin type to boiling water. The broth is frozen and then used as intended.

A prerequisite for using this technique is regular massage of the face, neck and other problem areas of the skin.

For freezing, special molds are used, pre-treated with an antiseptic. After removing the ice, you need to let it stand for a while. You need to know how long the procedure takes and strictly observe these parameters.

Ice is applied along the massage lines of the face. The manipulation takes about 5 minutes. Store the prepared ice in the freezer for no more than five days.

Indications and limitations

Cold massage is a useful addition to a variety of beauty treatments. But it also has its own prohibitions that you need to know about.

There are a number of diseases and problems when cold treatment is necessary. Among them:

  • a state of stress;
  • acne,
  • enlarged pores;
  • swelling after surgery;
  • fine wrinkles;
  • various warts;
  • sprains and bruises;
  • baldness and sparse hair;
  • loss of elasticity;
  • cellulite and overweight.

It is better not to do this massage in summer. It is contraindicated to stay in the sun for a long time, and you also need to avoid direct rays of the skin - ultraviolet light contributes to the appearance of age spots.

It is strictly forbidden to conduct sessions at home - in order to avoid injuries and frostbite.

  • rosacea;
  • herpes;
  • exacerbation of chronic ailments;
  • epilepsy;
  • purulent acne;
  • migraine;
  • existing wounds and burns;
  • allergy to cold;

  • mental disorders;
  • oncology.

Experts do not advise women suffering from excessive facial hair growth to attend cryotherapy sessions.

Disadvantages and Benefits

The disadvantages of cryomassage, such as redness, slight tingling and swelling of the face during the day, are not so terrible, given the advantages that this procedure has.

After visiting the salon, there will be no bruises that appear during a regular massage.

The manipulations are painless and do not cause discomfort. The technique is suitable for all skin types and scalp. The result will not be long in coming: small mimic wrinkles will gradually disappear, the complexion will improve and its contour will be tightened.

The procedure will save you from many problems:

  1. Eliminate edema and symptomatic phenomena after plastic surgery.
  2. Prepares the skin for peeling, cleansing and surgery.
  3. Helps eliminate pigmentation and scars.
  4. Will cure demodicosis.
  5. Improves and evens out the complexion. Removes fine wrinkles.
  6. It will help in the care of oily skin.
  7. Will enhance the effectiveness of other cosmetic procedures.
  8. Relieves the burning sensation after peeling.
  9. Promotes the disappearance of warts and papillomas.
  10. Eliminates allergic rashes and seborrhea.
  11. Reduces age-related changes.

It is noted that in just a few days dry and sensitive skin becomes firm, smooth and less susceptible to environmental influences.

Judging by the reviews of women who used cryomassage, the maximum effect is achieved after completing the full course of procedures. Oily skin becomes normal, wrinkles become less deep. The result depends on the condition of the dermis and the number of sessions performed.

A great advantage of the method is the low cost of the procedures available to any average client.

Feature articles

Cryomassage has a cosmetic and therapeutic effect. The procedure is non-contact, which means it is completely safe and painless. Indications for cryotherapy are problem skin, elimination of cosmetic imperfections, mimic wrinkles.

Cryomassage is ...

Cryomassage is a massage using cold. Literal translation: "cryo" - cold, ice; "Massage" - stroking. For hardware cryomassage liquid nitrogen is used, its temperature reaches - 196 degrees Celsius; nitrogen has a therapeutic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. There is a short-term, painless effect (without direct contact) of nitrogen on the skin of the face, the vessels instantly expand and narrow. Blood flow improves, healthy cells are renewed, there is a healing effect, and the processes of skin rejuvenation are triggered.

After the procedure, a surge of warmth occurs, the skin begins to "breathe", and a slight tingling sensation may occur. The procedure promotes exfoliation of the upper layers of the epidermis (chemical peeling effect), but when using liquid nitrogen, the renewal is softer and more gentle.

There are two main effects when nitrogen is used:

  1. Stimulation and activation of skin metabolic processes.
  2. Treatment of acne, warts and papillomas.

The average session duration is up to 15 minutes, but the procedure time can be increased up to half an hour. The time is chosen by the cosmetologist, taking into account the age and condition of the patient's skin.

Indications for use:

  • excessively oily skin;
  • enlarged pores;
  • acne;
  • acne;
  • deep wrinkles, including expression lines;
  • previous cosmetic procedures (botox, resurfacing, plastic surgery, etc.), to improve and consolidate the result.

How is the cold rejuvenation procedure (cryotherapy)

Cryomassage using liquid nitrogen is carried out only in salons; carrying out at home is impossible. Liquid nitrogen at a temperature of - 196 Celsius is placed in a special thermos. The beautician, dipping a wooden stick with a roller in nitrogen, begins to carry out a non-contact facial massage, only along the massage lines.

An "air cushion" forms between the cotton swab and the skin of the face, which has a healing and rejuvenating effect. Massage can be performed directly on the desired area of the face (acupressure), but no more than 8 minutes (depending on the damage to the skin), the time of exposure is chosen by the specialist (individually for each patient).

You can watch how the massage takes place in the video:

When cooled, nitrogen is liquid, but at room temperature it evaporates and becomes a gas. The patient does not experience pain and discomfort. The rehabilitation period after the procedure is not required. Once cryomassage is not enough, it is necessary to do about 15 sessions, 2 or 3 per week, up to several courses per year (due to the condition of the skin).

The sequence of the procedure:

  1. Facial treatment with a lotion appropriate for the skin type.
  2. A small relaxing facial massage.
  3. Cryomassage with liquid nitrogen.
  4. Application of a nourishing mask, cream.

Contraindications

  • skin lesions (burns, frostbite);
  • herpes (during an exacerbation);
  • hypertension;
  • spider veins;
  • diagnosed disorders of the nervous system;
  • acute infectious diseases;
  • tuberculosis;
  • persistent headaches;
  • epilepsy;
  • allergic rashes;
  • allergic reaction to cold;
  • (redness of blood vessels);
  • pregnancy;
  • post-infarction period;
  • thrombosis;
  • heart failure;
  • demodicosis.

Cryotherapy should not be performed if any facial peeling has recently been performed.

Cost of face cryomassage

The cost of cryotherapy is influenced by the level of the salon (clinic), as well as the city in which you decided to carry out the procedure. For comparison: the average price of one session in Moscow is 800 rubles, and in Yekaterinburg - 400 rubles.

Photos before and after the procedure

In the photo, the girl shows obvious cosmetic problems associated with acne. After cryomassage sessions, acne manifestations became less noticeable. At the same time, redness and inflammation of the skin from acne completely disappeared. Acne also completely disappeared; enlarged pores, which are visible in the first photo, have become almost invisible. The skin looks well-groomed and healthy. It is important that there are no new foci of acne and acne.

The photo clearly shows that before the procedure, the woman had age-related deep mimic wrinkles. After the sessions of the procedure, serious changes for the better are visible. The depth of wrinkles has decreased, they are practically invisible (as after a surgical facelift). At the same time, the complexion improved, the general condition of the skin. As a result, after cryomassage, the patient looks younger.

The photo shows that the young man had rather deep scars before the treatment. There is also a slight reddening of some areas of the skin.

After cryomassage, the depth of the scars decreased, the skin became smoother, redness almost completely disappeared, which gives the face a healthier look. To achieve this result, a full course of therapy was required.

Skin restoration after the procedure

After the directly performed procedure, you should not go out into the fresh air (especially in windy or hot weather) earlier than 15-30 minutes. Before going out, be sure to lubricate your face with a cream (better nourishing).

If cryotherapy is carried out in the summer, when the sun's rays are very active, it is necessary to use protective and nourishing creams. After the procedures, you need not to sunbathe for two weeks (dark spots may appear). Exclude visits to the solarium. Any, even the most gentle, procedure affects the epidermis of the skin, so it needs to be restored.

The relatively low cost of the cryomassage procedure makes it possible to improve the general condition of the facial skin, rejuvenate, and eliminate cosmetic imperfections.

The main contraindication to therapy is serious skin damage or chronic diseases. In a year, you can carry out 2 courses of 15 cryomassage sessions, which will keep the skin young and healthy and improve the tone of the face.

However, many people know about this, but not everyone is aware of what exactly such a session is useful for, and why is it customary to conduct it with liquid nitrogen? Answers to these and other questions can be found in the presented article.

Liquid nitrogen for the face (7 positives for the skin)

The special properties of cold have been known since ancient times. It was not for nothing that people always wiped their faces with snow, jumped into an ice-hole after a bath and hardened themselves by pouring cold water over them.

And in the end, cosmetologists turned their attention to these properties, and then liquid nitrogen appeared in their arsenal - an odorless and colorless substance with a temperature of -195.75.

In general, cryomassage is an effect that relaxes the muscles of the face. But if we consider it in more detail, then here we are talking about the fact that liquid nitrogen constricts the blood vessels in the skin.

After that, they quickly expand, and:

  1. There is an improvement in blood circulation and, therefore, its high-quality saturation with oxygen, amino acids and other useful substances.
  2. The skin is cleansed, but - disappears.
  3. The processes of tissue regeneration are accelerated, and all injuries heal faster.
  4. Disappears.
  5. Small expression lines are smoothed and age wrinkles are reduced.
  6. Small inflammations in the form of acne are "burned".
  7. The overall elasticity and firmness of the skin is increased, and its color is also improved.

And all this gives only one liquid nitrogen for the face. Its benefits become apparent after reading this list.

5 contraindications to the procedure

Of course, there are some situations in which it is worth thinking about what will bring liquid nitrogen for the face: benefit or harm?

With all the obvious beneficial properties of this procedure, cryomassage may not bring any positive effect if there are certain contraindications.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

  1. Herpetic eruptions (or a tendency to such).
  2. (very close arrangement of vessels to the skin surface).
  3. Pustular formations (if acne has passed into the stage of abscesses, it is impossible).
  4. Cold allergy.
  5. Migraines, serious problems with the heart and blood vessels, epilepsy, atherosclerosis.

5 steps of the liquid nitrogen procedure

Ideally, before visiting a beautician for cryomassage, it is advisable to consult him about whether this procedure is suitable and whether it is needed at all.

But since the effect of liquid nitrogen is, in fact, universal, many neglect this point and immediately order a course of these services, then you should at least know how they turn out:

  1. The client is prepared for the procedure - they offer to lie on a couch, wrap their hair with a towel or hide it under a disposable cap, cover the body.
  2. The skin is treated before applying liquid nitrogen - using a cleansing lotion and a cotton pad.
  3. Prepare liquid nitrogen itself - take out a container with it from the refrigerator, take a clean wooden stick with a cotton swab at the end and lower it there.
  4. They proceed directly to the massage - they are carried out with a swab with nitrogen over the face (along the massage lines), without affecting the most sensitive places: eyes, lips. If there are particularly problem areas on the face, the tampon is applied pointwise.
  5. The procedure is completed by immediately applying a cosmetic cream to the treated skin.

If the movements of the beautician in the process of working with the skin are not fast and intermittent, then cryomassage is carried out incorrectly and liquid nitrogen does not have the desired effect.

The whole process can take 5-20 minutes - the total duration will depend on the age and condition of the skin. And after that, it is better to stay indoors for about half an hour.

To obtain the best result, massage with liquid nitrogen should be carried out in a course of 10-14 procedures with an interval of 2-3 days between them.

Will Liquid Nitrogen Facial Treat Acne?

Acne is the most common skin problem - almost 85% of people face it at different stages of life, and this is not just about adolescents.

And among all the existing methods of dealing with acne, liquid nitrogen takes a special place, and shows very good effectiveness.

Cryomassage is able to help even with globular and keloid acne, which are difficult to cope with in other ways.

The healing and transforming effect of liquid nitrogen is explained by the fact that its temperature of -195 degrees destroys the bacteria that lead to the appearance of acne and thus relieves it.

Then, crusts form on the spots of acne, which you cannot try to remove yourself. When they fall off naturally, only completely renewed, clean skin remains. However, if acne is pus-filled, liquid nitrogen is prohibited.

You should know that if the cause of acne is problems with the internal organs, then cryomassage will not help or will only help for a short period of time.

The combination of mechanical facial cleansing with cryomassage is also very effective - liquid nitrogen cools the damaged skin and, accordingly, soothes it, removing the risk of subsequent inflammation.

But, so that as a result of the procedure, too intense peeling does not appear, you must use a moisturizer.

Reviews

Below are some reviews regarding liquid nitrogen face for acne:

DIANA, 22 YEARS:

“This procedure helps a lot! I am now just undergoing a course, and the face is cleared just before our eyes.

Many people say that liquid nitrogen burns and generally have to endure, but on the contrary, I am even pleasant and a little ticklish.

True, then a slight redness appears on the face, but after a few hours it disappears and practically does not bother. "

ANNA, 30 YEARS OLD:

“My friend was just worn out by acne - she didn’t drink anything inside, she tried to heal her body so that they disappeared. But, apparently, some bacteria were on the skin, so the face was constantly sprinkled.

She advised her to go to a beautician, although she had a fear that nitrogen would dry out her skin. Not overdried. And finally helped. "

YANA, 25 YEARS OLD:

“I heard that warts are removed with liquid nitrogen. Well, it would seem, where are the warts and where are the acne. But then I came across one article on the Internet and decided to give it a try.

Still, there should have been some benefit to the skin in any case. The beautician ran a cotton swab dipped in liquid nitrogen over her face, stopping pointwise on especially large blackheads and, as it were, cauterizing them. Feelings are specific, but I'm used to it. It helped! "

Question answer

In this situation, try using a moisturizer.

It must be stored under special conditions. For this, Dewar tanks are used. They are the ones who keep the right temperature.

Can I buy liquid nitrogen for my face at the pharmacy?

Many, having visited the cryomassage procedure, come to the conclusion that this is a very simple manipulation that does not require any special skills - dip a tampon in liquid nitrogen and slide it across the face.

And, of course, after that there is a desire to just buy this product in a pharmacy or some store and start using it yourself.

However, in practice, using liquid nitrogen for the face at home will not work. And this, first of all, is explained precisely by the fact that it is not sold in the public domain anywhere.

Liquid nitrogen is a complex physical substance, colorless and odorless with an extremely low (negative) boiling point. Therefore, it must always be strongly chilled and kept in special Dewar vessels, which are "cold thermoses".

If such a vessel is opened even for a short time, liquid nitrogen begins to heat up and, in accordance with its properties, evaporate.

Yes, some cosmetologists use ordinary thermoses for their work, and this does not mean that they are charlatans. In small quantities, the temperature of liquid nitrogen can be maintained in this way, but the fact is that it is still supplied in Dewar vessels by specialized companies.

Therefore, if there is a desire to buy liquid nitrogen in a pharmacy, the price of the product will not be a defining moment or an obstacle in this case - it simply is not for sale.

And, besides, the seeming simplicity of the procedure is also deceiving. Without special skills in cosmetology, you can easily get burns and even scars on the treated areas.

In the salon, cryomassage costs about 500-5500 rubles per session. It depends on the complexity of the procedure, the methodology.

If you want to, at home, you can do cryomassage with cryosics (these are stainless steel instruments that are frozen), or just carry out a session with ice cubes. Of course, they will not repeat the effect of liquid nitrogen, but some benefit for the skin of the face will still be present.

This massage is done in this way:

Stage photoThe essence
To clear the skin of the face from cosmetics
and residues of care products.
Take cryostiki or ice cubes
and walk them along the massage lines.

You can also make a mask with a cryomassage effect. To do this, follow this sequence.

How cryomassage of the face skin with liquid nitrogen will relieve you of skin problems, as well as the frequency of procedures and contraindications.

People have long noticed that if you wipe your skin with ice, it will noticeably tighten and look much better. In cosmetology, they also paid attention to this effect, although the water was replaced with liquefied nitrogen. In this state, it is completely colorless and odorless. This procedure was called cryomassage.

Indications for appointment

The method is based on the principle of skin reaction to cold. All vessels will first sharply narrow and then rapidly expand. This causes increased blood flow to the area that is exposed to the cold. Many people note the appearance of a pleasant warmth. All procedures provided for by the cryomassage technique are completely painless and do not require additional local anesthesia.

Since, in addition to the cosmetic effect of the procedure, you can also notice a therapeutic one, it is prescribed in the following cases:

  • Various types of acne and pimples;
  • (tick-borne infection);
  • Seborrhea or allergic manifestations on the face;
  • Disorders of cutaneous blood circulation;
  • Flabbiness;
  • The presence of folds under the chin, or called flaps. They can go down to the chin, completely deforming the facial contour;
  • Removal of any benign neoplasms (eg, warts, granulomas, keratomas);
  • Puffiness;
  • Problems of too oily skin (large pores, increased separation of sebum,);
  • Puffiness of the face;
  • Reduction of scars (including postoperative).

Technique

It all starts with a consultation with a doctor. It is he who, on the basis of the results of a visual examination of the skin, decides how many sessions you need and their duration. Having received a referral in your hands, you can go directly to the masseur. The whole process is broken down into several stages:

  1. Preparatory. The man lies face up on the couch. All body skin is closed (except for the face), and all hair is removed under a special protective cap (you can twist it with a towel).
  2. Before the procedure, you will receive a basic facial cleansing with a special lotion.
  3. Basic. The masseur will apply liquid nitrogen to the required areas with quick and accurate movements. For these purposes, a special applicator is used, very reminiscent of a huge cotton swab. Application can be spot-on if the area recommended for treatment is one or small in area. In the process, the eyelids and skin near the eyes, lips are not affected.
  4. At the end of the session, the skin is treated with cream.

After the session, refrain from going outside for half an hour (especially in windy and frosty weather).

Features of cryomassage

For each case, in order to achieve a therapeutic effect, there are nuances:

Acne... With acne (blackheads), the affected areas are treated with a duration of 15 seconds. If there is a rash with slight suppuration, then these places are treated pointwise (duration - 3 sessions).

Rosacea... The whole procedure is non-contact (without contact with redness). Each separate zone is processed for 10 seconds, and the total session time is brought to 5 minutes.

Neoplasms... The applicator moistened with nitrogen is pressed against the main or dislocation of several contiguous growths (the pressure is not strong) for 10 - 30 s. During this time, rewetting in nitrogen may be required (it evaporates extremely quickly). Swelling with redness usually appears after a few hours. Do not be afraid, this is a natural reaction that you will be warned about. Some people may develop wet blisters in the treated area after 6 to 24 hours.

Demodecosis... Outwardly, the disease can be confused with acne, but unlike it, demodicosis is accompanied by very severe itching. This disease is caused by a skin mite, which is very afraid of exposure to cold. The affected areas are treated with nitrogen for 30 seconds. The recommended number of sessions is 10. In this case, after the procedure, there may be a temporary reddening of some areas.

Frequency of procedures

The standard course includes 10 to 15 sessions at intervals of several days. For example, according to the scheme 2 times a week. You can take up to 2 courses per year. If you are only concerned about acne, then cryomassage can be done more often. And some diseases require longer courses. It all depends on the patient, and that is why it all starts with a conversation with a doctor.

Estimated prices
The cost can vary between 400 and 1500 rubles for 1 procedure. It depends on the clinic and on what the preparatory stage provides for in it. Naturally, if you do not undergo preliminary cleaning or save money on the cream at the end of the session, then the procedure can cost 200 rubles. But will you need such savings. Also keep in mind that depending on the problem, you will need 3 to 15 visits.

Method effectiveness

Usually, after the end of the session, the following manifestations can be noticed with the naked eye:

  • Smoothing and reducing the number of wrinkles. This also applies to deep expression lines (forehead, corners of the eyes and lips). This effect is due to a general increase in skin tone and density;
  • Improvement and alignment of complexion. This is due to the fact that the procedures increase the blood supply to the skin. Together with this, its nutrition, oxygen saturation improves, metabolism is enhanced;
  • A noticeable reduction in the appearance of acne or other irritations;
  • Improvement of the facial and jaw contours;
  • Lack of oily sheen and noticeably enlarged pores;
  • Smoothing of all types of scars (stitches, wounds, burns). This is due to the strengthening of all processes involved in skin regeneration.

Homemade ice cryomassage

It is not possible to use nitrogen at home. You need to store it in a special container. This also requires special equipment. Indeed, even at normal room temperature, nitrogen very quickly returns to its natural state (volatile gas).

But, as a basis, you can take the method that became the progenitor of cryomassage - rubbing the skin with ordinary ice. Naturally, you cannot take ice from the street for these purposes (ecology does not allow such a luxury). You just need to freeze the cubes in food ice cube trays.

It is better to take purified and filtered water for these purposes. On its basis, you can also prepare a herbal infusion, and then just freeze it. Most herbs (sage, string, chamomile, parsley, mint) are suitable for these purposes. Find the one that suits your skin type.
